The park is in need of serious deferred maintenance. We needed to stop due to the recent winter and ice storm in Texas. No real amenities other than garbage and your site. Laundry was a joke!! I wouldn’t plan on it. Site listed cable as an amenity, but ours did not work. Water, sewer and 50 amp were fine. Sites were large and the residents were friendly. Called to make a reservation and got the septic company that also owns the park. Might be why it looks so bad. It could be a really nice park. People that checked us in, after driving around to find a spot, were okay. No office and you don’t know who or where to pay until they walk up to you. We stayed an additional night and wanted to pay, so my wife texted the septic company number again and she replied to call Maria. We did not have Maria’s number so texted back and received no reply, so we’re gonna do the checks in the mail deal. It is a decent overnight stop with fairly good size sites, but certainly not destination unless you’re working in the area. Bottom line is they need to get their poop in a group!?

This place is a great stopover. After traveling a couple of long days, this was perfect for a relaxing recharge. Park is kept up really well and all works and is very clean and orderly. About 2.5 miles off I-40 on Old Route 66. Internet was adequate for email and a little surfing. $20 reflects Passport America.

If all you’re looking for is a nite over, this is a great place. Easy on and easy off. Covered BBQ area with a gas grill, table, dog relief area and a playground. All are very well maintained. Not a tree in the place for shade, although the back row has some small trees planted that will be good in a few years. All worked very well. I did not care for their reservation system which is online prior to arrival. Once reserved and paid, you get an email confirmation with gate code for entry. It worked out well. We had to stay 3 nights due to mechanical issues, otherwise it would have been a one and done. Unless you have a reason to stay longer, I would not consider this a destination stop.

There is a dump station, but site #1-#6 have full hookups. #7 & up are electric and water. It is all gravel and pretty level and clearly marked. Wi-Fi worked fine for email and browsing. Just across the road is a gas and convenience store.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Easy access off/off I-17. We are 67’ long with trailer in tow. Our site was 75’ enabling us to stay hooked up. Sites are level, working utilities and quite spacious. Great clubhouse with pool and lots of amenities.

This could be a destination stop for a few days or a week. We’ll be back for a longer stay, but it is a nice area and a good park. $19 reflects Passport America. Everything worked well. We were greeted and treated very well by Dan. We were a little concerned on first call as it went to voice mail with mailbox full…….not good! However, we received a call back in a few minutes and secured a space for the night. We are 50’ with truck hooked up and we had no trouble in our site and had more than adequate room. Site was level and clean. Internet was adequate for email etc.

Big rig friendly. Water and vault toilets about 1 1/4 mi. away at the Empire Ranch Historic site. No dump station. Primitive fire rinds with only 1 mile or so of gravel. Road in from Hwy 83 is paved until the Empire Ranch. Very quiet, peaceful and large well spaced level sites. Sign has said future site for a BLM campground for about 6 years now. So far there is no charge.

This place is awesome. Site are large and mostly pull thru’s. Bathrooms were spotless and well as the laundry which was $1.50 for washer and dryer. Well kept with nice picnic table and fire/pit BBQ at every site. Everything worked well and the managers were fabulous. If you need to be in Alpine, this, would be a destination park.

We stayed 2 nights to get recharged and warmed up during the cold snap the area received in early Feb. The staff are over the top accommodating, fullhookups (everything worked), blazing fast internet, absolutely spotless showers and restrooms, spotless clubhouse and almost all pull through gravel sites that can satisfy a big guy and a toad. We are 52 feet with truck attached and had room to spare. Whole place was nature quiet and very peaceful. This WILL be one of our go to stops enroute to AZ for the winter. Price reflects Passport America.

This is our 4th stay at this tribal RV park. They are so accommodating in every way. Very polite and anxious to make our stay the best possible. We were here to tour the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It’s about an hour away, but a very scenic drive to get there. Everything worked with good internet service. Restrooms and showers are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Dana at the front desk is so friendly and welcoming. This place is the hidden gem of the North Rim. While it is supposed to be 107 degrees at home in Tucson, we enjoyed a comfortable 87 degrees during the day and high forties at night. Pipe Spring National Monument, (right across the road) is well worth the visit. We paid 12.50 per night with Passport America.
