Certainly perfect for a one night stay, or a bit longer...We paid $65 for 3 nights for a full hook up! convenient to I-40 and Historic Route 66. Real friendly owners. If you have the time, add a day to visit the Stafford Air and Space Museum. less than 20 minutes away in Weatherford. A REAL gem of a museum in a nice small town.
First off it is off the highway a lot more than we realized. Not far but gives you a better bumper for highway noise. Very little road noise, more like white noise low a low volume. The park is small but sites are very spacious which I can appreciate. The sites are gravel and level. Each site has nice grass strip, picnic table and their own garbage can which is super handy. The park is peaceful with birds chirping. The views are beautiful. The gentleman that checked us in was super sweet and polite. I’m sorry I don’t remember his name. We didn’t use the facilities but they have showers and laundry available. We would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Love this place, a hidden gem. So close to Historic Route 66, the pull-through sites are accessed directly off the highway. Wife liked the laundry, very close. Modern utility connections. Excellent WiFi. Quiet. Easy access to I-40. Highly recommended.

We stayed here on our way to and from Phoenix, AZ. The staff were awesome. The sites are very easy to access and it is very peaceful. I highly recommend this place for stopping for a day or two of rest.

I agree with all those who have left five stars before me. Arlene generously accommodated my early, un-reserved, arrival, helping me get settled and providing quarters for the laundry. It was great to take a day to relax and rejuvenate here. Being 6'6" tall I was grateful for the size showers, which are larger and cleaner than most. I was also grateful for the general order of this small site. The Wifi connection was top notch. In the evening it also happened that I met and received a warm hello and welcome from the owner, Carol. Thank you for a great stay in a very pleasant roadside oasis!

This is a small reasonably priced campground that is road adjacent and easy to access. Upon arrival we were warmly received and made to feel at home. The campsites are clean, spacious, and very quiet at night. The WiFi was probably the best we have ever experienced in a campground. Will stay here again without any hesitation when passing through the area again.

Discovered this gem of a stop using Boondockers Welcome Oct/2019. The sites are paved, level, E/W/S available for a small fee if that’s the way you travel. Hosts are diligent, friendly and have a great vision for this new endeavour of theirs. Park is in a country setting, far enough away from I-40 that there is no highway noise. We’re now travelling back to Ontario and are reserving again. This will continue to be a stop on our way to the SouthWest.

We pulled in here en route from AR to TX as an overnight stopover after going to 2 others in the Oklahoma City area which were not great for us. This was such a pleasant surprise—overlooking beautiful fields with beautiful sunsets, quiet, full hookups, really nice camp host, very well maintained—and right on Rte 66. Sites very level—we were only on a stopover so we didn’t unhitch and we were not unlevel. You can see I-40 way in the distance but you can’t hear it. It was perfect for our very active dog — could walk along the local roads without worry of traffic. Note that while this is historic Route 66, the road quality is narrow and a bit bumpy coming in. Nothing crazy, just be sure you’re not in a hurry—slow down and enjoy the scenery! We would have been happy to stay more nights!

Wasn't sure about staying here when looking at Google maps imagery but I can assure you it was old satellite imagery. Immaculately clean and well spaced. Stayed here unexpectedly and this is now our go to for a quick overnight on our way home. I highly recommend this park if you need a place to stay. And the sunsets..........

This is our second stay here. The campground is actually located in Bridgeport, OK, but there is no post office there anymore. This is a fairly new Passport America park. It’s very small (11 back in FHU sites) but really nice. All the gravel sites are very long and level, with railroad ties delineating the sites; grass is between each site and there is plenty of spacing. There are some trees providing shade, although not all sites have shade. The park is built on the site of an old motor court and cafe that was used by travelers on Route 66 many years ago. The owners, Carol and Danny, are very friendly and are RVers themselves; they are still planning new additions to the campground in the future. Right now they are adding restrooms/showers and a laundry - those will be ready by mid September, 2020. There is a dump station available for travelers. Both ATT and Verizon cell signals were strong. WiFi worked too. The first visit we didn’t set up our portable Dish because we got plenty of OTA channels out of Oklahoma City. This time we did set it up and it worked great here. The surrounding area is farmland and there is a large section of grass in front of the sites that is perfect for walking, even although there is not a specific dog area. The campground is not far off I-40. It needs to be noted that Route 66 is pretty rough! We would definitely stay here again.
