Dan’s Riverview RV Park

We camped here one night on our way east on I-40. We found it on the Passport America website. Usually we don’t expect much at PA campgrounds, not a bad thing, you get what you pay for. Wow! This place is spotless! Everything is brand new from the fire rings to the bathrooms to the hookups. Only 9 sites and we got the pull-thru which only has electricity and water. The others are back-in sites with full hookups. Laundry is $2 to wash and $1 to dry. The first time I’ve ever felt that I could use the shower without flip flops!! We paid $20.74 (tax included) with The PA discount but we’ve paid a lot more for a lot less at many other places. A little off the highway (about 6 miles). This will be a regular stopover for us when we travel I-40.

A very pretty clean new rv park. Cheaper rate if you have Passport America. New place. Mr Dan is very nice and attentive. A little road traffic noise but not terrible. Enjoyed overnight stay.

Unfortunately, it is not big rig friendly. Our 41' Class A did not fit in any spots. No one greeted us. I called a few times, texted to see if there was another option for motorhome. No call back. Bummer, because we really wanted to stay here.

This could be a destination stop for a few days or a week. We’ll be back for a longer stay, but it is a nice area and a good park. $19 reflects Passport America. Everything worked well. We were greeted and treated very well by Dan. We were a little concerned on first call as it went to voice mail with mailbox full…….not good! However, we received a call back in a few minutes and secured a space for the night. We are 50’ with truck hooked up and we had no trouble in our site and had more than adequate room. Site was level and clean. Internet was adequate for email etc.
