Ther are 2 loops to this campground. The lower loop is suitable for RV's. The upper loop is for small trailers and tents. We had electric and plenty of room for our 33' 5th wheel. We were the only ones in the camp. In talking to the ranger, it gets quite busy in the summer. We were there 3rd week in April.

Great little campground with some good hicking trails. So peaceful and quiet.

Pulled in July 3rd and will stay through the 5th. 190 sites. We had a full hookup backin site for $28.50 per night. WiFi was really good unlike most parks we stay. Cable tv hookup also. Little road noise as it's right next to the freeway. Sites are pretty well spaced with some sites having adequate shade. Could be a good base camp for visiting the Black Hills.

Stopped in for a recharge on the way home. We had a site with water and 30 amp hookups right next to the Williamette River. Park was clean as were the restrooms. Mostly long term units in the park, The ladies running the place were super friendly and accommodating. Rest of the camp was very friendly also. It didn't bother us but there was a lot of train traffic next to the park, so if that bothers you, don't stop here.

I don't think I would make this a destination park for a week stay, but for a stopover it was great!! Be advised they did not have a dump station, but all else worked very good.

State of ID is to be commended!! This park is beautiful. When we were there last week, mid Sept., we were about 200 feet below the snow line. Park is right off the entrance to City of Rocks National Preserve which is absolutely stunning.

Lots of room in almost all the sites and they were very well maintained. We had 50A and water. Appreciated the 50A as it was 34 to 38 degrees most of the time. All roads paved with some very large pull thru sites. Big rig friendly for most all sites. Great cell service too!!! Not much in the town of Almo, but Tracy General Store was cute and carried the forget me nots!!

Easy access off the freeway and everything worked. Owner was a good guy. That’s about it for the pros! Sites are sparse gravel and packed very tight. Not much freeway noise. Sites looked like they have not been maintained well. The park we were going to was not available so this place did the trick, but was not worth the price.
