A nice city park for events and picnics, but also has lots of RV parking sites. Once you decipher the parks hieroglyphic rendering of the available types of site you are free to check out what's available. It's first-come-first-serve and there is no one to greet you. The sign for the site types is in a kiosk at the Hinkley Lane park entrance. There are also envelopes for your check (no credit card) once you get settled in. We arrived on a Saturday and there were only a few RV's on site. We had plenty of sites to choose from. We choose one adjacent to the river that had 50amp and water. There is a dump station nearby. There are some seasonal RV's on the river edge side. Some are well kept, others not so much. The town of Bainbridge is very close and the slightly larger town of Sydney is about three miles away. Sydney has more going on. I was getting download speeds in the 30-40mbps range on my T-Mobile 5G hotspot. To summarize, it's a quiet place to get off the road for a night or two, and with Passport America it's 50% off. Our $20/night was the PA rate. Easy in, easy out for larger rigs.

Ignore the Google satellite photo's, they show an empty dirt lot. There really is an RV park here. A good one too. Clean, wide spaces, well packed gravel sites and super friendly owners. All sites are pull-through 30/50amp F/HU with great water pressure. The RV park is on Texas 170 about a half mile from Texas 118. Technically it's in Study Butte (Terlingua Ghost Town is a few miles down the road). You are centrally located for access to both Big Bend National park to the east, and the State Park to the west. There's a well stocked liquor store that's walking distance from your RV site.

The owners are actively working on amenity improvements to this new park. Better WiFi is in works (which we didn't use), my ATT hotspot was getting over 20mbps download. T-Mobile on the phones was spotty. They also have a bathroom and showers in the plans. Right now you must be self-sufficient. A dog park will be done within a week or so and they have a nice "group" fire pit area. One night they had an acoustic guitar performer.

We had a great time here and would definitely book again if we're in the area.

Sunset RV Park has only been open a couple of years, but the owners have turned this into a sweet little hidden gem. Nine easy-to-back-in sites, all 50amp F/H. Hard packed gravel with hookups located close to the connection points on the coach. Short runs for power, water and sewage. It is adults only, no kids allowed. Also no showers or restroom facilities, so no tent camping. You have to be self-contained. A quick couple of miles north and you're in downtown Custer. Very little highway noise can be heard making this a nice, quiet place to watch the stars at night.

The park has its own WiFi, but we never used it. We had ample cellular data for our AT&T hotspot. T-Mobile on our Consumer Cellular phones seemed weak, but using WiFi calling eliminated that problem. In town we had strong T-Mobile LTE on our phones. I honestly can't think of anything negative about this park.

We paid $35 US for 9 nights (stay 6 get 7th free). Not crowded. There are some permanent residents, but travelers are put in the river sites. They have new management and have done a lot of upgrading. We had to stay several days extra because of forest fires. Management was very accomodating. They have the best WIFI we have experienced anywhere. We were able to stream TV. The park isn't fancy but very clean, quiet, affordable, and it is easy to get to local sites. 30 amp power, but new pedestals. Some sites are a little close together but they spaced the guests apart and the layout and trees made you feel the sites were more private.

Truck stop with the normal truck stop shopping, a Subway and a classic diner style full service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have showers and laundry. A good place to stop on a long empty highway. They have a "museum" collection of beautiful old cars. It felt more like a harvest host then a typical truck stop. The parking was not crowded. We parked next to a parking lot island and were able to open our slides. There is another location in Glen Rio, NM.

The Richfield KOA was very clean and well maintained. Lots of tall shady trees. The sites are well spaced. The top end patio sites even have their own enclosed dog run. All sites are 50/30amp full H/U. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. We didn't use the large pool or showers but a quick peek into the showers revealed they were very clean and in excellent repair. Location is minutes away from Walmart, restaurants and gas. There are a lot of ATV's coming and going due to the miles of OHV trails in the area. The noise was minimal though and we experienced no issue with that.

The park is old. The sites are spaced pretty well, but if you have a rig over 35' you will have a hard time getting into your site. Empty rigs in storage partially block one of the lanes. Parked pickups also block parts of the drive. The neighborhood surrounding the walled RV park is one of the worst in Phoenix. Severe homelessness and crime. The police helicopter is nearly a nightly presence. We never left chairs or grill out. Basement and entry doors were always locked at night. On the plus side, the park isn't too far away from restaurants, grocery etc. The laundry has three washers and four dryers, all work fine. Angie, the manager is helpful and friendly, if you can find her. She is frequently not in the office. Due to close proximity to I17 you get to listen endless traffic sounds. The locals seem to enjoy street racing sans mufflers in the middle of the night. Definitely will not stay here again.

Our check in was fast and painless. We had the weekly rate of $210, which works out to $30 a day. A steal considering the quality of the park! A friendly host led us to our site and made sure we were good to go. Our site (10) is probably the nicest in the park. We had a large seating area with table and chairs overlooking a forest of evergreen trees. It was quiet with almost no highway noise. Lots of birds hanging around and even a small herd of mule deer. The sites and road within the park are loose packed gravel. You do have to travel about 3/4 of a mile on a dusty dirt road to get to the park entrance.

10 minutes to the Silver City historic downtown area (recommend Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery for casual beverages and good food. Lots of locals hang out there.. Getting out onto highway 180 can be a bit challenging, but be patient and an opening will appear. The traffic isn't too heavy. All sites are 30/50 F/H with good water pressure (city water) at about 40psi. My Nighthawk M1 hotspot on an ATT network hung in there with 30mbps download. T-Mobile LTE was equally speedy. The park is filled with pinon's and cedars contributing to a serenity rare in RV parks. Laundry is two large capacity washers and two large capacity dryers at $2.00 each. On Saturday they hosted a BYOB BBQ where we met and chatted with our neighbors. There appear to be some long-term residents here, and their sites are all tidy and well kept.

I would absolutely like to stay here longer. This was a one night stop for us heading north on I81. It's easy to get into and out of. The sites are nicely spaced level gravel with 50/30amp F/U pull-through. Our 35' Class A easily fit without unhooking the toad. You are surrounded by bucolic farm land with rolling green hills, cows and fam houses in the distance. There is some very faint highway noise that was overshadowed by mooing cows. It seems to be an adult park (we didn't see any kids). There is no playground or fire rings. Lots of trees shading the sites. My T-Mobile hotspot got an easy 5G 115mbps download. I am adding this park to my "fav's". Bonus points for having a Blue Beacon Truck Wash at the freeway intersection nearby!

It ain't much to look at, but it's close to downtown Cody, the Buffalo Bill Museum, Old Trail Town and the nightly rodeo. It's also walking distance to Historic Cassie's bar and restaurant venue. The campground hides behind the Exxon station. It's laid out in a sort of circle with permanent trailers around the outer perimeter and the transient campers in the center. Our site was a very large pull-through, gravel and pretty level. There was some road noise from Sheridan Ave, but it died down as the evening wore on. Its a good place to spend a week seeing what Cody has to offer. It's a bit far from Yellowstone but the drive out there is spectacular. I had trouble getting good download speeds on my ATT hotspot, but a Mimo antenna pointed west did the trick, though not speedy. The laundry was clean and only one machine was out of order. Didn't use the bathrooms so no comment there. Check-in was quick and friendly, but they only take checks. No credit cards.
