Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on June 20, 2022Older RV Park with some permanent residents. Friendly staff. Sites have grassy areas and tables and are larger than the Ponderosa RV or KOA. A few pull-thrus can handle extra large rigs. Full hookups. Internet is available but coverage was spotty.
It’s located off the highway behind the Exxon station so there’s little to no road noise. It’s walkable to Walmart, Cassie’s, The Cody Cattle Company, Old Trail Town, and Rodeo grounds (about a 15-20 min walk).
Gave it a 4 because of the showers. There is no privacy. There’s plenty of pressure and hot water but the two showers are small with curtains and you step out into a common dressing area open to the rest of the bathroom.

This is a small older campground owned by two very nice people. You are welcomed at your arrival. Everything is explained. There are nice large sites, with green grass and trees. Great water pressure, and full hook ups. You are right in Cody so convenient to everything. The sunsets are stunning. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice Park behind a Gas station. So it is very quiet Lots of grass and trees. Plenty of room for our 35' 5th wheel and pick up. Easy to maneuver and park. Full hook ups .Lots of small cotton tail rabbits. Located on the edge of town. Don't miss taking a drive down Chief Joseph Hwy.. The Cody Museum is a must visit as is the nightly Rodeo. There are fanciers parks in town but I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights at Parkway. Sites have plenty of room and grass. Very clean. Convenient to town and right down the road from the rodeo. Very reasonable rates!! WiFi was a little slow but that didn't affect us too much. Ate at Cassie's Restaurant next door. Highly recommend it.

Had a pleasant stay in Cody here. Hosts were friendly. Checkin was easy and one host/owner led me to my site. There is grass between sites. Sites are gravel and level. Was a quiet stay here. Nice to stock up at Walmart before heading to Yellowstone along with getting laundry done in the rv. Lots of places to eat in town.
ATT and Verizon worked well for me.

We chose this campground because we couldn't get a site in Yellowstone NP. We put a lot of miles on visiting! It is 50 miles from the East Entrance station. Then another 25 miles to the Fishing Bridge area of the park which basically gives you access to the loop road to get to the Canyon area, Norris geyser area, Old Faithful area, or the Yellowstone Lodge area.
The campground is small and basic but functional. The sites are a little tight, but there is room for a picnic table between rigs - we've had much worse. Pretty good turnover of sites though there seem to be some long-term residents on the perimeter. Bathrooms are very basic but clean. Toilet stalls are very small from front to back - I could barely fit without hitting my head on the door. My feet stuck out from under the door. Very uncomfortable. Showers had little privacy - basically located in the open with a shower curtain on the shower itself. Campground is located right behind a gas station, so there is pretty consistent road noise. Though the gas station was very convenient and their prices one of the lowest in town. ATT coverage was a little weak - I put up our signal extender and we were basically fine for our stay. Campground Wifi was a little slow at times, but was generally good. All in all this campground fit our need while we visited Yellowstone - we would rate it 3.5 out of 5. Being in Cody had other benefits like visiting the Buffalo Bill Museum and attending the nightly Rodeo!
Though, we would probably insist on finding a site in Park itself if we ever come again. Failing that, we would consider finding a campground in West Yellowstone, it being a lot closer to the action.

Wow what a find in Cody! Stayed 2 nights in our 37’ Fifth wheel. Andy was laid back when we arrived. They take CASH or CHECK only so be prepared.
Site 13 is a 70 foot gravel site on the end which he had just leveled after the winter season. So it is well maintained.
Lots of locals here but very quiet park with the exceptional dog barking.
Never tried the restroom so can’t speak to that.
There is an Exxon station in front with gas or diesel. Campground said it sold propane but we didn’t need any.
Easy in & out.

This place is a gem!!! Yes it is a combo mobile home park and campground and I tend to shy away from them but happy we stayed here. The permanent residents are on the outer edges and were both friendly and quiet. Camping spots are full hookups with grassy areas and decent room between sites. Nice clean bathrooms and showers. So convenient to the rodeo and other area attractions. Easy walk on paved sidewalks to rodeo, restaurants and National Forest office.

This is cash or check only campground.
This campground was perfect for a two night stay in Cody WY. It is on the west edge of town and is a quick drive to Cody and the museums.
There are full time residents living here Their area is mainly on the outside row of the campground. We had good interactions with them, friendly folks. The showers and restrooms were clean.
If visiting in the early fall, ask Andy about the best place to see wildlife. During our visit we were sent 40 miles out South Fork Rd to see elk. The drive was well worth the time, so many elk! We also saw pronghorn as well as a black bear sow and cub.
We would not hesitate to stay here in the future.

It is easy to find, the owners were very welcoming, and the sites were clearly marked.
There are full hookups at an affordable price!
The laundry area was nice and clean along with the showers!
It is conveniently located close to downtown and right on the way to Yellowstone!
We would definitely stay again!!
