We had a great spot at Angostura in mid October. We had a lake front site and there are several available. All the campgrounds were quiet, but we heard thru the grapevine that summer and holidays, the park and the lake are part central. Most sites have electric, but no water or sewer. There is a dump station at each end of the park with drinking water available, however the north end dump station was closed for the season when we were there, so only south end open.
Our restroom/water at hat creek was also closed for the season, however other campgrounds appeared to be open along with vault toilets scattered throughout.
We were impressed with the area.

Nice campground with water, 50amp and dump station. Most sites have shared water spigot so make sure you have enough hose. Sites are not really spacious but workable. Restrooms and showers are clean and work well. Reservations are necessary online, there was no host while we were there. Not sure about wifi, there is att, but internet is very slow, if available at all.

Really nice campground, great people, and you can't beat the location. Already have info for possible future stay next year. Sites are level and good size, FHU's and Passport America (some restrictions).
They have a place to fish, swim (no beach), snorkel and park your boat.

Stayed for a week in a fhu, pull thru spot. You can tell new owners have done a lot of work and are proud of what they have done. 20 min. South of Salmon and right across the road from the Salmon River. Great location to explore the fishing and sights of the general area.
There is a small store, dvd library, restrooms, shower and laundry all on premises. There is also pretty good Wi Fi. Yedda and Keith are great.

Yes, it is an asphalt parking lot, but enough room for rv, vehicle, chairs and table. There is also a grassy area behind each parking row with a picnic table and trees for shade. We have great views of the sunrise and sunset from over the mountains and, oh did I mention the wildlife we saw within 1/2 mile of where we were parked. Yes there were birds, roadrunners and nesting Black Hawks. We also saw coyotes almost daily, a group of javelinas right down the road and to top it off, we watched a bobcat one morning. He drew a crowd and didn't care, when he was tired he left.
Each spot has full hook up with 50 amp electric and the only campground in the park that does.
There is no cell service but I was able to get park WiFi, spotty at best and slow, but worked for me. You are also in easy driving distance from everything in the park to do and see. There is a store, gas, very small laundry area and pay showers. We didn't need to use, but they seemed clean.
We had nice weather, though a few days were rather warm and it did get windy at times. Come before end of April, still green and colorful.
The other enjoyable part of this campground is the community it creates, we met a number of really nice people during our stay, we all had something in common, visiting a national park.

Walden's creek campground located in Pigeon Forge, TN is a basic campground that has FHU including basic cable and can fit any size rig. They charge $3 extra for 50amp but offer PA discounts daily with a few restrictions. The park is small, tight and quiet, which is a nice break from town.
Not many kids here, mostly more mature couples.
It is a good park at a great price (PA discount) for exploring Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

This is a great campground on Lake Lanier. Water and 50amp at site with double dump station in the park. The original site we had (43) was too small for our truck and 5th wheel even though the website said we would fit. When we pulled up to check in the host knew we were going to have a problem so they put us in another site and gave us a choice of sites after the weekend. We liked our location so we didn't move. The hosts are great here.
The Park is clean, sites are good size with space in between. Restrooms/ showers are really nice and cleaned daily. There is a swimming beach and 2 fishing jetties. We will be back

We got a full site for 10 days and with nm park pass only $8 a night. All gravel sites and roads thru campground, with sites of all shapes, sizes and various hook ups. We liked this park for the wildlife viewing....deer, elk, and several birds to watch. The park rangers were knowledgable and very friendly. However, the lake level is low and there are restrictions on boating, so check on those before coming with your boat.
Restroom looked clean and well maintained, but we didn't use them much with fhu at site. There is a dump station as well. Camp hosts arrived 3 days before we left, they seemed very nice and eager to start their new assignment.

We stayed at Potter's Creek the week of Thanksgiving. This time of the year there are only 2 camping loops open, 1 &4. #1 is 1st come and #4 is reserveable. We were in #4 and it was practically full and other loop almost empty. Sites are paved, good size with covered picnic table, grill and fire ring. There is also restrooms and hot showers in each loop along with trash dumpster. Both loops have 2sided dump station available. There is plenty of wildlife to watch and photograph. The interesting part of the campground is the curfew, if you are not in the park by 10pm, you have to wait until 8am when the gate opens. Just be aware of that when out visiting the area. This is about an hour north of San Antonio and in the hill country of Texas.

This is a nice COE park on Lake Somerville just north of Brenham, Tx. We were there for 2 weeks during spring break and it was still a great place to stay. The park has been hit with 2 major flooding events in the last 4 years so they are still working on issues. Both boat ramps are closed along with half the park, not sure if it is flood related or seasonal. There is a boat ramp on the other side of the lake and saw a few boats tied up along our shoreline.
Though the restrooms are kept clean, we were disappointed to see that even on the very chilly days, the heaters we're not on and the plastic is torn off all the screens, so it made for some chilly wind hitting you along with the hot water.
There is a nice deer population and they were fun to watch.
We will stay here again if we are in the area. We have a senior pass which gets us 50% discount on our camping cost.
