I have straight talk cell and it worked fine.

Stayed here for two weeks while visiting my kids who live here. Very quiet and peaceful out there, had deer behind the camper grazing. Camp host on site was very friendly and helped me move a picnic table. Pretty level site with water and electric. Dump station out front has two sides and plenty of space around it. Close to Walmart and Ponderay although you can bike into Sandpoint. Bathrooms and showers were clean and FREE! Nice farmers market on Saturdays, wooden boat show was here and of course the fourth of July parade. Murphys on the bike trail has bikes to rent and ice cream. Be sure and visit city beach downtown Sandpoint. Great place to vacation lots to do! Absolutely gorgeous town!!!

2nd year staying here just as peaceful as ever! Lots of room for the dog to run around. Plenty of space between campers. Clean showers and plenty of hot water. Very close to Walmart and shopping. No complaints!

A nice campground with lots of tall trees and lawn space between sites. This campground is in the far corner of the fairgrounds, so it doesn't feel like you are at the fairgrounds, Very clean bathrooms. There is the occasional train going by, so that was annoying but otherwise, a very peaceful campground. Very close to downtown Sandpoint with lots of restaurants & shops.

Overall great campground, water spigots are laud out weirdly so have extra fresh water hose on hand and the map doesn’t accurately reflect sites 15,16,&17... these three sites are ontop of each other and very tight, would probably avoid if you’re over 25-30 ft, we crammed our 40 ft 4 slide 5th wheel into 16 and it was tight! The rest of the sites here appear to be well spaced. Train can be loud, and to quote Elwood Blues comes by so often you won’t even notice it. Sand Point is one of our favorite places!

Third time here and I can't say enough about the fairgrounds and the gals who work there. It's very peaceful and yes some sites are tight if you have a huge rig and are parked next to the same. I camped with a 17 ft travel trailer and had more than enough space. They have a huge grassy area for the dogs to run. If you travel with a dog as I do this is your place while in Sandpoint or Ponderay. Also dog beach is off leash just for them to swim and play. Another off leash trail is at the end of the Seasons parking lot adjacent to the old Edgewater hotel near city beach. Awesome place for dogs. They have a picnic table for each space and clean restrooms and hot free showers. For the price you simply cannot beat it in this area. The bike trail goes all the way into town as well. Close to Walmart and North Forty and restaurants and another small dog park is in Ponderay. Book ahead as they fill up fast in the summer. Water and Electric only but two sided dump station and potable water out front. I have straight talk phone and did not have cell service in the fairgrounds.

We just stayed here for one night on our way to Glacier National Park. It was a fantastic spot for a night. Not sure it’s really a destination type campground though. We had no trouble getting our 40’ class A into site 27. There was tons of room on the grounds to walk our dog. This was such a nice little hole in the wall spot, super quiet and we’d certainly stay again for a night here if needed.

Nice campground with water, 50amp and dump station. Most sites have shared water spigot so make sure you have enough hose. Sites are not really spacious but workable. Restrooms and showers are clean and work well. Reservations are necessary online, there was no host while we were there. Not sure about wifi, there is att, but internet is very slow, if available at all.

Stayed here 5 nights as we were helping our Son build his house. Long days of work, dirty, tired and ready to rest.
The check in is by phone only which only works after 9 pm M-F. No camp host. Our first night was a Saturday at 6pm we discovered we had no way to check in. Found our site was occupied and had to go around and find the occupant to get them out. The showers were disgusting and full of trash and clogged drains from hair! The next 4 nights someone was in our space each time. No management at all!
