The train runs several times at night and daytime. I'm in the row closest to the track, and I may be woken but fall right back to sleep when the train rails by. It's quiet, clean and good spacing between pull-thru sites, even the smaller pull-thrus. They have laundry and shower and restroom, the latter have door codes. Wifi is okay, but I continued to use my cell router for TMobile data. The town of Chubback is only 19 miles down the highway, and locally, there are fuel, hardware and a market. You'll find more in Chubback. I'd return!

A plateau about hundred yards off the main road, clean and no shade for dry camping. The sign says 3 day limit on camping, and when I arrived, all 6 sites were in use. Luckily, a gentleman said he was about to leave, so I can have his spot. Timing! (It was getting late, too!)

If you get the sites closer to the main road, you’ll get a heck of a sunset of the carved mountains. I was on the opposite side, and I got a hillside, but I could see well enough since each site had decent spacing!

I’ll come again.

You are between Hwy 80 and a cornfield. The freeway traffic doesn't bother me, but it is present. The RV park is managed out of the gas station and cafe which will accept RV'ers deliveries. They have a shower and laundry, neither did I use, but the laundry building was locked (didn't ask about it).

I attended the RV show which I took a 5 minute shuttle (which ran about every 10 minutes). I got confused on the instructions to my site, even with the site map, but staffer got me to my site and assisted in backing in. It has a country feel with the grass, trees and multiple train passes on the adjacent tracks, but the train didn't blast their horns near here, but further up or down the line so it wasn't that disturbing. the train is just a low rumble as it travels like 25 MPH. I'd come back.

I have a 28ft TT. Rangers said the park was built when the trailers were much smaller, therefore, there aren’t large enough sites for larger TTS. I did see at the trail head, about for TTS, and then another which, IMHO, would be a heck of a parking job. I was parked in the upper section across from the park. A regular to the park (keeps his 5th wheel there all the time; visits when weather gets warm in the valley below) said the county built this upper section which is outside of the woods and has full sun) several years ago, and missed on sizing and location of waste connection for the back-in sites. I didn’t really check the pull-thrus. I had to do the slinky move when dumping, and it was a good thing I had extra hoses to reach, about 12 ft and 20 ft to my kitchen grey water dump connection.

I really liked the hikes up the mountain. The climb near the top (I lost the trail to the top) was 1,000 ft above the 6,750 starting altitude. You can also get good exercise just walking the road to the cabins and tent camping sites.

Cell service for AT&T and T-Mobile is minimal. Streaming on either was a high and low of buffering and an occasional hiccup. No local Wi-Fi.

I paid the 'over 55 years old' discounted daily at $15! Power pedestal on site for 20/30/50 amp service. No sewer at site, so there's a dump station in the park. Water isn't adjacent to site but reachable with one hose. Drinkable water is also available at the dump station. The road to access your site is barely room to maneuver your truck and trailer into your spot. But, you can drive onto the grass that's a bit lower than your site, at least my site. There's also a small casino outside and down the street from the park.

I connected to the 30 AMP connector, and I filled my fresh water tanks and ran off my water pump. They have a spigot usually between the sites, but not all. The dump station allows for two sessions at the same time, and it has drinkable water as the sign states. The staff keeps the CG very well, checking trash cans every several hours. There's a gas station (regular and premium, no Diesel) and mini-mart. No propane filling or exchanges, but a mile or two, there are several businesses that will exchange propane tanks. I'll be back, especially at the senior discounted rate!

There are bathrooms, but no showers or laundry services.

There a lot of sites and all seem to have generous spacing, but my sewer connection was a bit on the up-slope so I had to do the slinky thing. Also, I was within ear-shot of the clunk-clunk of cars driving over something to/from the RV site and the upper level of the parking structure. Don’t park near the parking structure! The RV park has a regular shuttle to all the casinos, or just walk to Riverside and Aquarius casinos. I also biked the nearby paved path to Davis Dam. Along the entire route were picnic sites which allowed you to view the Colorado River.
