The area was a little busy around 5:30 PM (time I pulled in), but the hikers quickly left as the sunset. I paid $7 since I had a National Parks Pass. Nice little camping spot with a picnic table.

Got here around 2pm on a Tuesday and was able to get a spot right away. Towards the weekend might be hard to get a spot. The sign posts it’s a 3 night max stay but not sure how much its enforced. Close to Page with a nice view and an area where you can walk/climb on some of the rock formations. Gets dark pretty early and was quiet during our stay. Easy access to get in and out of and should be fine for big rigs. The sites are a bit narrow but doable.

Great quiet boondocking campsite. There are six sites. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were the only ones there. A couple of truck campers came in the two nights we stayed but were gone early and we had the place mostly to ourselves. There are some nice walking trails with rocky monuments to explore. The campground is minutes from town. $14 per night.

We arrived at 5 pm and were surprised to see an empty spot. We stayed for 3 nights. Theres a lovely 1.5 mile walk around the hoodoos right beside the campsite. The damn down the road is amazing. You can enter Glen Canyon park across the road. We rode our bikes through there and saw some lovely views. The campsite itself was fine, lots of people just staying for the night. If it's full when you pull in, I saw others just park close by and then grab a spot the next morning when it came available. You pay on the honour system. I saw rangers drive down the hwy but didn't see any in the campsite. The night sky was amazing too!

This is no longer a free campground but now is a FEE campground! National Park Pass (Old Man Pass for me) will get you 50% discount. $7.00 per night, 3 night max stay. NO SERVICES. Dry camping only and only 6 sites. Had no issues getting a 17k, 35' 5th wheel in to site #2. Looks like all sites are the same size. Awesome views from every direction. Page is just a mile away, with a Walmart and Safeway and a couple wanna be Dollar Stores and one REAL Dollar Store! :) Hardly any road noise from US 89.

Stayed here 2 nights while on the way to Kodachrome Basin. First off its not much. Its a flat safe spot for 14 bucks a night. Red dirt road dispersed near up the road from it. Unless you have 4wd don't even attempt to turn down the road. Pulling a trailer don't do it. (this is referring to red dirt road dispersed right next to it). Back to beehive, the location you cant beat. It is right beside Glen Canyon Dam, 5 Minutes from horseshoe bend, and there's a walking trail beside the campground. If you want to get it in the lake, drive across the dam take your first right and follow the road all the way to its end. Walk down the rock cliffs and there you are. This would have gotten a 4th star if there had been a restroom. But you are paying 14 bucks for a flat spot and the proximity, and also feels safe. If you dont wanna pay the 14, go to walmart, campers are there all day.

I arrived at 1:30pm and got the last of the 6 sites. I was road weary and grateful. I loved the view and the red rocks to explore just above the campground. Folks here were socially distant and quiet. The only noise is the traffic on the highway just below. Sun is intense, but there was a glorious breeze. It was perfect spot to head out for sunrise at Horseshoe Bend

Loved this location. The views are awesome. Trail right behind for the new wave. Atv rides take you through the canyons and caves. Close to page for errands. Just perfect.

the views were amazing. we pulled in in the dark so we couldn’t see anything till morning and WOW. gorgeous. there is a little hike to do that’s wonderful, only takes a few minutes. only downside of this place was no restrooms. the highway noise is definitely noticeable, but not too bad.
