Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on May 12, 2023An RV park with a small dirt patch for tents. No picnic tables. Filthy bathrooms. No spigots forget water; just a hose. Freight train runs right by it and blasts its horn at all hours. Nice host though, and personal check in and escort to the site. Beautiful sunset.
Stayed from 6/26/21 - 7/3/21. Overall the campground was well maintained with nice spacious paved pads and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They launched fireworks for the 4th of July from the marina jetty, which you can see from any part of the campground.
sites 22-28 have an incredible amount of space between them, and are long enough to get 2 campers and a vehicle/boat on which some people did. It was fairly loud with a ton of kids running/biking around but I was there during 4th of July weekend, however, I suspect it is like this most of the year due to the marina being inside the campground and many people bringing boats with them. The reservoir was actually too low to launch from the campground marina but there are other spots. I kayaked and caught a bunch of decent size smallmouth.
Access is easy from the highway. The town doesn't have much but there is a decent grocery store. nearest town with Wal Mart, Home Depot, etc. is about 25 mins away. There are a few breweries there as well - I only went to one and it was ok.
ATT and Tmobile on the Peplink were good but not great, think I got around 20-25 mbs down and 10-15 up on both.
I'd stay here again simply because of the access to the water and the quality of the sites.

We stayed 1 night as we were passing through, the camp host was awesome and they always answered the phone. Park is clean, utility hookups look newer and are well maintained. We went for a sunset walk on the beach, but if you have a boat they have ramps on-site. Just a short jaunt is a park and baseball fields. I could have easily spent a week here. We will be back!

Nice Place. Stops are nicely spaced. All backin spots provide nice view of the resevoir. Pull through spots are the only shaded spots in the campground. Train tracks are close, but cause minimal disturbance.
Staff is friendly and helpful. You can tell take care of the place.
The only issue I had is not being advised during booking that the resevoir was being drained for dam repairs. Resevoir was at 22% capacity and receding. We were unable to rent boats, paddle boards or kayaks. One of the main draws for us. You are able to drive down to the beach but be aware that many places have super soft sand and you could get stuck. The beach was not a very appealing spot to hang because of the mucky ground you have to cross to get to the water.
If the resevoir was closer to full capacity this would have been a 5 star place.

Stay here 3 nights. We were greeted by Chris. What a nice gentleman! He escorted us to our spot and answered all of our questions. We also encountered Jadon. Nice young man. Our spot had trees on both side of our spot. The sites are larger than any RV park we’ve stayed in. Park was clean. The store was convenient. The men’s room could use some TLC.
The park is adjacent to a railroad track which is active and the reservoir. Unfortunately it was really low. Make it a point to make the drive to Twin Falls. Quite a sight.

It’s. a nice campground but it is super close to train tracks that kept waking me up all night. The staff is very nice and helpful. Our space was so level!

We stopped here for an overnight stay. Staff was very friendly. Our pull through site was very large. It was a little windy during our stay, but we welcomed the cool breeze. It was a relief to have full hookups after six nights of dry camping. Bathrooms could use updating, noticed some flies, some small debris in the site. The train is close, I heard it once during the night, my husband didn't, it really didn't bother us.

Its a little run down but they have huge spots and a good view. We just stayed 1 night while driving thru the area and it was middle of winter so we did not really get a chance to check it out. There was a lot of dog poop that was left all over the place. There is a train that is about 100 ft away from the park and it runs multiple times a day.

The train runs several times at night and daytime. I'm in the row closest to the track, and I may be woken but fall right back to sleep when the train rails by. It's quiet, clean and good spacing between pull-thru sites, even the smaller pull-thrus. They have laundry and shower and restroom, the latter have door codes. Wifi is okay, but I continued to use my cell router for TMobile data. The town of Chubback is only 19 miles down the highway, and locally, there are fuel, hardware and a market. You'll find more in Chubback. I'd return!

Stayed here for three days and really liked it. The lake was low, but the sites are not crowded together. There is a huge park right next door and a walking trail along the water and inland. No, it's not super fancy but a nice spot to camp and explore the surrounding area. Yes, a few trains go by at night but not bad.
