The main feature of this campground is proximity and access to Lake Lanier. All of the RV sites here are excellent, but there are a number of sites that have AMAZING views of the lake - see our blog post for a list of sites that have waterside views . . . https://ourepicfieldtrip.com/2019/07/06/lake-lanier-duckett-mill-campground-army-corps-of-engineers-gainesville-ga/

Very easy access off I-10. Friendly staff. Very clean throughout the campground. Super quiet at night. Nice pool and lots of activities. Lots of very friendly snowbirds. The sites are mostly back-in and fairly small. Town of Casa Grande has lots of grocery and dining options. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

This Encore park is in good overall condition with adequate amenities. The pool is at the back of the property near an ornamental pond and fairly quiet. The clubhouse and laundry room are spotless and well maintained. Sites are very tight (somewhat typical for FL). A large portion of the sites are for long-term stays, with many full-time/year-to-year residents. There is a lot of noise from proximity to US 41 and a railroad track. Staff here are polite but more oriented to the long-term residents than "transients". We had an extended stay (90 days) here in order to complete several significant projects on the rig as well as having extended visits with family and friends in the area. Per night price of $18 reflects the 90-day rate. Traffic going south over the bridges in Bradenton can frequently get backed up. Good overall proximity for day trips all along the Sunshine and Cultural Coasts of Florida. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

We don't give 5 stars very often !! This park is wonderful and really ticks all our boxes for an ideal campground. It's located well off any major road and very quiet. Large rigs should definitely come in from the north off IN-37/64 and avoid going through the town of English if you can. If you're traveling west on I-64, go past the English/IN-237 exit and take the next exit for IN-37. The setting is absolutely beautiful in a mature forest with a river running through it. You can float and splash in the river, and there are numerous playground set-ups scattered throughout the park, along with picnic areas and a petting zoo. The park roads are all well-maintained gravel, great for bicycling, and the grounds and facilities are very clean. Cell service here is very weak on Verizon and AT&T, and speeds slow way down when the weekenders come in. The sites are generously spaced, surfaced with gravel and include picnic tables and fire rings --- and as mentioned in earlier reviews -- Unlimited Free Fire Wood !! We had a full hook-up site in the trees. The newer sites near the lake do not have much shade cover. Fellow campers are mostly friendly locals, and we loved sitting out in the evenings and watching the fireflies. We would definitely stay here again. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

We stayed here in late May and were very pleased with the site. There are no hookups but you can find water in a few spots. The campground is well off the main roads and very quiet. There is some drive through traffic but pretty minimal. We got there on a Wednesday and had no trouble finding a large site but the campground did fill up on the weekend. Our cell signal (with weBoost) was OK for calls but pretty weak for streaming. There's a nice winery nearby, and Nashville is within range for a day trip, along with numerous historical sites along the Natchez Trace.

We got our 45' MH up the tight curvy access road and through the tighter campground roads but did I mention it was tight ?!? That said, this is a quiet park during the week and very busy and active with families on weekends. Lots of recreational options from caving, to hiking, to horseback riding, to fishing and more. This is a nice county park with numerous sites around a small lake. The overall park is kept clean, although some site groupings seemed a little trashed. There's supposed to be a stay limit, but there seemed to be several longer term set-ups. Site selection is first-come first-served, and sites get pretty limited on the weekends. If you get lucky, you may get a site with a view of the lake. Great trees and walking/biking paths throughout the park. There are limited sites with 50 amp service. The camp store is stocked with convenient items. Most sites are on gravel or grass areas. The grassy sites are on good solid surface. You're within 30 minutes of Wichita from this park. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

Situated just five miles from The Strip and five miles from the Fremont Street Experience, this campground is a great option for a home base to see the Vegas area attractions. That said, you won't want to hang out in this park. Very tight spaces. Few amenities beyond a small pool. Bathrooms and laundry areas are dated, inadequately cleaned, and not in good condition. Lots of city noise, including LAS flight path. See more details in our blog post at: https://ourepicfieldtrip.com/2020/02/22/thousand-trails-las-vegas-rv-resort-las-vegas-nv-campground-review/

Actually, we wanted to stay more than one night. It was overcast, windy and drizzly so the view was a bit compromised, but we enjoyed it still with our big rig blocking the wind and a fire pit going. We did have to unhook the Jeep to get turned around and positioned for departure, but the peace and quiet along with the view are worth it. It's really not that far out of your way heading east or west, and the roads off I-10 to the spot are good. There's space enough for 4-5 rigs, and we had the whole overlook to ourselves all night. Very little traffic going by and wild goats wandering around the surrounding hills/mesas. Cell service was good on both Verizon and AT&T. This overnight spot is a great option in that part of west TX where there are few other options. We will definitely keep this on our favorite's list. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com
