We had the good fortune to have a waterside site with sunset views over Lake Bridgeport. The sites on the east side of the cove do not have sewer hookups but were more spacious than the full hook up sites on the west side of the cove. The lack of sewer hook up was not much of an inconvenience though as the park offers a honeypot service three days a week. There are clubhouses and pools for families and for adults as well as the normal recreational amenities like mini golf and playground. This Encore park is in good overall condition with adequate amenities. The pool is at the back of the property near an ornamental pond and fairly quiet. The clubhouse and laundry room are spotless and well maintained. Sites are very tight (somewhat typical for FL). A large portion of the sites are for long-term stays, with many full-time/year-to-year residents. There is a lot of noise from proximity to US 41 and a railroad track. Staff here are polite but more oriented to the long-term residents than "transients". We had an extended stay (90 days) here in order to complete several significant projects on the rig as well as having extended visits with family and friends in the area. Per night price of $18 reflects the 90-day rate. Traffic going south over the bridges in Bradenton can frequently get backed up. Good overall proximity for day trips all along the Sunshine and Cultural Coasts of Florida. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

This is a good RV park for exploring Pawhuska and Osage County. Set off the main road, the park is very quiet. Heavily wooded, yet easy to maneuver, even in a big rig. The park is laid out on hilly ground, but every site is nicely leveled with well-maintained hook ups. There's a small playground for the kids, and even a few storm shelters sprinkled around the park. The park host, Julie, is very friendly, but not always responsive by phone when checking on availability. The sites vary in size - some have plenty of yard space, others have very small spaces. Julie greeted us upon arrival, and then we were able to pay by dropping an envelope into the drop box. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

This is a small campground with good basic amenities and very clean. The sites are on gravel, fairly small, and most have a fair amount of slope. We were able to level, but you have to work at it a bit. It's on a busy road, and the road noise is pretty loud. That said, we would recommend it as a base camp for exploring the surrounding area. Great proximity to many restaurants, hiking, and mountain communities. Asheville, Biltmore, and Smoky Mountain National Park are only 30-40 minutes away. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

Very easy access off I-10. Friendly staff. Very clean throughout the campground. Super quiet at night. Nice pool and lots of activities. Lots of very friendly snowbirds. The sites are mostly back-in and fairly small. Town of Casa Grande has lots of grocery and dining options. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

This is a clean campground with good sites and convenient location for traveling through central TN. It is right next to I-65, though, which results in a LOT of road noise. That said, it's easy access / in and out off the Highway. We stayed here four nights because we needed to get ready for some boondocking and had a lot of cleaning, food prep, laundry, etc. to do. We would be happy to stay here again if passing through the area, but not likely for a long stay.

If you're passing through or want to spend some time in Houston, this park serves the purpose. It's easy to access and secured by a gate entry. The park, sites, and amenities are very clean throughout. The pool is attractive, and there's even a dog washing station. The sites are very small and closely spaced, with little to no shade. Even though it's in the city, the sites are set back from the main road, so it's relatively quiet. The surrounding neighborhood is fine with access to several restaurants. Not somewhere we'd want to stay for an extended time, but it is convenient for being in the Houston area.

Thousand Trails Colorado River RV Park is very conveniently located just five miles off I-10 between Houston and San Antonio. This campground is a nice mix of amenities and natural areas and is a great spot to stop for a few days or even a bit longer. We stayed at Thousand Trails Colorado River RV Park for four nights in January 2020. We were on a cross-country trip from Florida to Nevada and picked this location to rest for a few days before continuing west. See more about this campground at our blog post https://ourepicfieldtrip.com/2020/02/08/thousand-trails-colorado-river-rv-park-columbus-tx-campground-review/

While this park has many things going for it, there was one aspect that was a total deal breaker for us - no cell signal. More details in video at https://youtu.be/JMUMlTh2AMk

Mt Princeton RV Park has a lot going for it and not least of which is it’s location. Centrally located in Colorado on the north end of the town of Buena Vista, the campground is convenient to many outdoor recreational opportunities around this part of Colorado. Access to the RV park is very easy from Route 24. Great place to reprovision and clean-up between boondocking stays. Super clean and big-rig friendly.
