Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on October 06, 2022Can I just say that I find most RV parks depressing? I do. With that said, this one is not depressing. It is super well maintained. The premium sites are large. The shared bathrooms and laundry area are clean and nicely done. They also have a small playground area for the kiddos. The owners obviously take great pride in their business and it shows when you stay there.
They have WIFI but don't count on it. BV is not known to have the best internet speeds and this WIFI is good for email and that's about it. They also have a lot of websites and iTunes blocked.
The only downside (other than the WIFI) is that it is not cheap, at all. This place is at the top of the food chain as RV parks go and their price reflects that.

We enjoyed our stay at this RV park. It was a typical RV park. We stayed in the pull-thru section and the sites were roomy and well kept. The back in section looked a bit more crowded, We had decent cell service (can't remember whether AT&T or Verizon was better :S). We would definitely return to this park again.

Mt Princeton RV Park has a lot going for it and not least of which is it’s location. Centrally located in Colorado on the north end of the town of Buena Vista, the campground is convenient to many outdoor recreational opportunities around this part of Colorado. Access to the RV park is very easy from Route 24. Great place to reprovision and clean-up between boondocking stays. Super clean and big-rig friendly. This park is very well maintained and in a convenient location to lots of outdoor recreation. It is a short bike ride into town for dining and shopping as well. Our entire experience was completely positive. The WIFI and cell service were both above average for RV parks. The sites were well spaced and well maintained in our section. For what you get, this park seems appropriately priced.

We ended up extending our stay twice :) First time here and first impression was easy to access, friendly owner, clean, flat site. Then great Wi-Fi/Internet, then impeccable laundry room, then noted the aesthetics of the park with its mini sculptures and tidy demeanor throughout. It was a wonderful base camp for our daily exploration of BV and surrounds to Twin Lakes and Independence Pass, across Weston Pass, Leadville, BV and South Main hiking and exploring in our Jeep. Lots to explore here. Also appreciated their Pet Policy. Thank you Cindy and Jeff. We'll be back! Susie and Ron Anderson

We stayed here the last night of a 10 day trip. We had boondocked the prior several days and were ready for some services. We had a site in the rear corner that was very private. The CG has nice amenities. We used the showers which were clean and spacious. Many large rig motor homes and 5th wheel RVs. Park is close to BV so we went in town for dinner. Property is very clean and sites are spaced fairly far apart. I believe all sites have electric, water and dump. Nice views of the mountains from the park. Being in the back corner of the park, we did have some wifi signal issues. If Wifi is important get a site more central to the park.

I will echo the other reviews...my only complaint is that they charge by the minute to take a shower...REALLY !
If you go to town (its worth going to) be sure to check out SOUTH MAIN Street. There is Main and then South Main. South is a new development that is retro. so all the buildings there look old, but are new.

Nice maintained park, clean community facilities, laundry, showers(coin operated), restrooms, decent lot space, worth the stay, little to no noise
We came on a down season. Central location very close to downtown. I believe this is a family owned and operated rv park. Has full hook up sites, pay coin showers and coin laundry. SUPER SUPER CLEAN facility. The people in the office were so welcoming and friendly. I wish showers were free but the cleanliness and location make up for it. Originally we were supposed to stay for 1 night but ended up staying 3 because of how much we enjoyed it. One minor complaint is no fire pits, if you have a propane one you can use it I think but no firewood or fire pits which kinda gets boring in evenings with nothing to do. This park was super super quiet too which was nice I felt super safe.

I have a 43’ 5th wheel and had no problem backing into my space. A host helped me backup, which is always appreciated, but wasn’t required. The views are immaculate and it’s far enough off 24 that you hardly hear the trucks (except occasionally the engine brake). 5 minute drive to downtown and a 15 minute walk to a convenience store. Will be back, staying for a month.
