We have not stayed there, just copied this from their website. It appears that you can only dry camp in their parking lot during the fair and not other times.

Thinking back, I must have seen an old website (they are under new ownership) and so the site did not live up to our expectations. On the positive side, the place is very pretty and super quiet and they had (free) firewood waiting for us. We are in a 41' fifth wheel and we scraped the rear end coming off the main road and again at a small spillway we had to drive through to get to our site. We were in site #45 but there is no way they that many site. My guess is they may have six for trailers, though there are electrical boxes all over the place there are not obvious ways to get to them. In our case, we were on a small plateau that only had one way to get into it which meant we had to make a U-turn in our site to get out. It was doable, but the guy down the hill from us (in an Airstream) was going to have to back out of his site. We took a different road out of the park so didn't scrape, but it required us to shift into 4 wheel drive. We entered in Gate 1 and left by Gate 3. I'd say the site itself was fine, but the park has no dump facility (not at the sites or anywhere else). The men's room is pretty bare bones and does not have a shower and although the women's bathroom does, my wife and another camper we talked with did not feel comfortable using it. I think there may be a couple of families living there full time and it seemed like the woman's restroom was setup as someone's 'home bathroom'.

There were people coming to fish in the lake but we did not fish ourselves. It would be a fine place for a smaller trailer or tent campers, though there is not much level ground. We would not stay here again for two reasons, we are too big and they don't have a dump station.

Nice enough if you like camping on concrete. We stayed here while visiting my son and while it had easy access to highways, it also had a fair amount of traffic noise (especially at night). although you are set back from the road, two sides are bordered by a freeway and a highway. The park itself has very nice laundry ($3.25 wash) and showers, a pool (not heated so we did not go in and a hot tub. Our site was a bit small for our rig (we stuck out into the road) and we could not get our truck along side, so had to park in front of our site.

They have a lot of rules, but they are not strictly enforced, with the exception of the 5 mph speed limit (which is). There is a little patch of grass at each site (that you can't put anything on) or hangover if you have a back in site. They do have a small catch-and-release pond (did not see anyone catch anything) and access to a very nice bike/walking trail around a lake. They also sell propane.

There is a small supermarket and gas station on highway 6 at the access road. There is a tight / 90 degree right hand turn if coming in from the Westpark Tollway. I had to wait until the road was empty before I could turn in from highway 6.

They have free streaming channels you can signup for and the cell and wifi are good (we have boosters too).

Just tried to see if they have availability for specific dates and they require a $50 security fee. I think not.

Directly across from a gas station/mini mart and the county visitor's center made for a good location. The park was easy to get into (a bit of a lean) and easier to get out of. The showers were good and we used them instead of the one in our rig, The staff was very friendly. Though right off the two-lane highway, there was surprisingly very little road noise at night. Maybe it was because people were slowing down to enter the town of Torrey.

Nice facility (laundry $2.25 wash / 1.75 drier, showers, restrooms) and our site was paved and level, but we were in one of those 'pull through' sites that are on the side of the road. The good thing about the site was that we had no one on either side of us.

I originally was going to give them 4 stars - knocking them one star for - we reserved our site several months in advance and asked for 50amp and confirmed that they had cable TV (so we could watch the NBA playoffs). When we arrived, the 50amp line was not working and our site did not come with cable and they didn't give us a discount on the rate. But on our last day they cut the power to our site (and several others) with no notice and it was off for several hours. In addition, we were waiting for something to arrive in the mail and knew it had been received at the post office in town but the office said they were too busy to go pick it up. We finally did get it just before we left.
We have Starlink and had no trouble getting a signal, but you might if you are closer to the road as there are more trees.
Though we were there in May, the pool and hot tub were not yet open. Someone said we could use the pool at the Best Western, but we never got that confirmed.

Love this place. The campground used to be a family farm and is still in the family. We parked next to the barn, in a big and level grass field. They only have 30amp power and water at the site, but a dump station at the entrance. We drove a few miles and put our kayaks into Back Creek and paddled with the current, back to the campground. The owner's husband had offered to drive me back to where we left our truck, but was busy helping setup for a wedding anniversary party, so one of their friends drove me back. So Nice! This is one of the quietest places we have ever stayed!

We stayed here on 9/19/20 for one night on our way back from Oregon to our home base in Pleasanton. The office staff was friendly and all of the site are pull through and fairly level. Sites have full hookups, but no picnic table or fire pit, but some have shade. We watched local TV so did not have a chance to test cell or internet strength. The park was pretty empty and they have recently added a few more rows, towards the highway (so the plants and trees are smaller). We went into town instead of trying to eat in the casino, mainly because the cigarette smoke was so thick. The kennel, showers and clubhouse were closed and the shuttle was only taking golfers to the course and not people to the casino. There is a large truck parking lot in front of the RV Park and next time we are just passing through, I'd seriously think about saving $40 and parking in the lot, as several RVers were doing.

We were in town so we could get a aux fuel tank installed at Transfer Flow (great people) and needed WiFi because we are both working from home. The park is very clean and well kept, with green grass between sites. Each site has a picnic table and many have shade. Although our site was on the end and facing a busy street, we were far enough set back that we hardly ever heard the cars go by. When we were there 8/1 to 8/8, the park never got more than half full. There is a small pool and shower and laundry facilities and all are clean and well maintained.
Dinner at Rice Bowl down the street is very good, but watch out for their portions. We ordered two dishes on top of rice and chow mein and there was enough 2 dinners and a lunch. Not a bad problem to have if you ask me.
