We used the campground as a place to rest our heads after a long day of travel from Oregon to our home in California. We had a long day of mechanical issues and Rolling Hills was a good spot to pull in, turn on the air conditioning, take a shower and hop in bed.
There was a very nice woman that checked us in at midnight. All the sites are pull through which made it nice that we didn't have to unhook for our short stay. Sites where fairly roomy and clean. We had breakfast at the casino buffet and headed on down the road. Would stay here again. It was reasonable and definitely quieter than staying in the truck lot with all the running big rigs.
A cool amenity at this casino that we didn't use was a they have dog kennels available to board your dogs.

I wasn't expecting much from a "casino parking lot" but this is so much more. It's actually a really nice RV park - well manicured, extremely clean, quiet, etc. All the sites are 70' pull-thrus with full hookups and solid 50 amp service - you literally stop and register, then drive around and pick your spot... whatever's open is yours. Our site was a little unlevel - our front wheels are about an inch off the ground, but that's not all that unusual for us.
We're extremely happy to have found this gem with such easy access off I-5... we travel from Las Vegas to Oregon a lot, and this park will suite us quite well from now on.

California is just too big. Going from SoCal to the Oregon border takes me a LOT longer than one day. A nice place to call it quits for the night near the northmiddle is Corning, and a fast and easy in-and-out location by the freeway is the RV Park at Rolling Hills Casino.
Not exactly camping, Rolling Hills is more of a welcome rest stop at the end of a long day of driving. All sites are full hookup, the same size, tow-through (making it easy to arrive after dark), and no reservations are needed—just pull into any open space you like and turn off the engine.
A 24-hour shuttle will take you from your RV to the casino/bars/restaurants, but it’s not necessary if you want to stretch your legs and take a short stroll across the parking lot to the main building. It feels safe even late into the night. Many truckers overnight in their well-lighted designated area near the entrance to the RV park.
It’s a family friendly operation (and more pet friendly than usual for California), and home to one of the least smoky casinos I've ever been in. If you're really fed up with RVing for the moment, there's what looks to be a reasonable hotel with a little pool. The “Travelers Clubhouse” provides laundry, showers, wifi and other amenities to all.
While in Corning visit the hokey Olive Pit (http://www.airstreaming.net/road-trip/olive-pit/), as well as the more upscale Lucero Olive Oil tasting room. Lucero produces a nice quality, affordable oil that makes a great California souvenir to take back to friends in states beyond. Use the label color as your guide to the various flavors—the lightest green bottles are the mildest; the darkest green are grassy and acrid. All are delicious.

The RV park has been described well by the previous reviewers. The nightly rate however, has increased.
If the RV park is full, there is plenty of casino parking for overnight camping. Most use the south lot, west of the RV park along with trucks who pull in for the night, but the north side of the casino is much quieter without truck noise.

We spent one night. Very nice but I believe if you don’t need to plug in and or dump you could stay the truck parking for free. Showers were large and very clean. They charge $4 for shower $10 if you don’t stay in RV park but I believe if you fill up with gas at the chevron station on the property they will give you a voucher for a free shower.

Pros: Easy ingress and egress; Easy to find from the Highway; Paved road into the park, but sites are graveled; Fairly quiet; Easy check-in; Included is access to the clubhouse laundry, restrooms and showers; Nice small town with nearby restaurants and large Truck/ RV stops plus washing and repair shops. Walking distance to casino. Decent buffet that on Tuesdays and Thursdays is 50% for people over 50 years of age.
Cons: Poor WiFi; Sites not level
Notes: They also offer an Equestrian RV Park in another area of the property. In addition, they have a large overnight Truck parking lot that is free and has Security employees driving through at all hours. Very safe.

Great stop off for your travels north/south on I-5. Paved roads, solid gravel pads, nicely landscaped/maintained, FHU’s, casino has a nice buffet, and easy I-5 access. They have a business center for all your fax needs, laundry, showers, and a small kennel facility for doggy daycare.

Love finding parks that are easy for us to get into. This park has all 75 foot pull through sites, full hook ups, and lots of mature landscaping. It was 102 degrees so we really wanted to overnight with power so we didn’t have to run the gen all night. Went to dinner at the Casino in the Lounge. Really good food and an excellent waitress. RV Park includes use of the hotel pools with a pool pass. We had not picked up a pass but the desk clerk said no problem, just help yourselves so we had a nice swim at 10pm! Did not use the laundry or showers but everything here is nice and well maintained. Got ice at the store by the gas pumps. Very well stocked. We plan on returning here as often as possible. Close to Shasta and all the outdoor activities.
