Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on November 27, 2023Nice enough if you like camping on concrete. We stayed here while visiting my son and while it had easy access to highways, it also had a fair amount of traffic noise (especially at night). although you are set back from the road, two sides are bordered by a freeway and a highway. The park itself has very nice laundry ($3.25 wash) and showers, a pool (not heated so we did not go in and a hot tub. Our site was a bit small for our rig (we stuck out into the road) and we could not get our truck along side, so had to park in front of our site.
They have a lot of rules, but they are not strictly enforced, with the exception of the 5 mph speed limit (which is). There is a little patch of grass at each site (that you can't put anything on) or hangover if you have a back in site. They do have a small catch-and-release pond (did not see anyone catch anything) and access to a very nice bike/walking trail around a lake. They also sell propane.
There is a small supermarket and gas station on highway 6 at the access road. There is a tight / 90 degree right hand turn if coming in from the Westpark Tollway. I had to wait until the road was empty before I could turn in from highway 6.
They have free streaming channels you can signup for and the cell and wifi are good (we have boosters too).

Stayed for a week to visit family during Thanksgiving. Roads are wide with plenty of room for large rigs and the campground was very clean and well kept. The permanent residents all had well kept and clean sites. The laundry was extremely clean with plenty of commercial washer and dryers. The pool area and hot tub were very nice as well. They offer a free dog wash if you want to bathe your furry friends.
They offer wifi and free TV channels but we didn't try these out. Our T-Mobile home internet was getting between 100-200 downloads. Our AT&T cell phones had great signal as well.
Overall this was a great stop to visit family in the area. Yes, it's a RV park with lots of concrete in the middle of a big city...so set your expectations accordingly.
Access: Highway 6 can be busy but easy enough with our 42ft 5th wheel.
Location: In a big city but fits the bill perfectly if you need to be in the area.
Cleanliness: Very clean and well kept!
Site Quality: Nice level concrete pads. Close to neighbors. Grass well kept.
Noise: Big city with some minor noise from Highway 6.

Gated, clean, and easy to navigate through the Highway 6 RV Resort was designed well and management takes good care of the property. We arrived late in the evening, during a thunderstorm but made it in the large gates easily via phone call. Looks like all RV sites have level concrete pads, concrete under the picnic table and a nice green patch of grass. Trees are young and not providing shade yet, but each site has a tree so in a few years they will be great to park under. The lake is pretty and amenities are designed to enjoy along the waterfront. Overall it is a nice RV park and we only paid $78 for their premium pull through site. Highly recommended to visit!
