Stayed for a one nighter at this rugged campsite. Had full hookups and a beautiful view of the Mulberry River. T-Mobile covers the area with 5g. We loved it here! Got to walk about a mile down a path along the river. So nice.

We arrived on a windy Tuesday afternoon and bounced along rutted roads to find that all the 5 star Hurricane campsites were FILLED! On the way out we noticed site 1 was empty, and having no alternative we decided to take it. Site 1 was right on Sheep Bridge Road, which was convenient. But every car that drove by kicked up a lot of dust.

Two days later, site 12 opened up. We hooked up the trailer in 15 minutes and secured the site. The wind died down and the views were spectacular. It was quiet, felt remote, and clean. We would definitely come back. The proximity to Zion was a plus!

This is a clean facility. Staff is friendly. The gravel site provides a picnic table. The hookups were easy to use and sites were labeled well. But the noise from the traffic was loud all night long. Wi-Fi was available but I had trouble accessing it. For a one nighter, it did the trick.

Lovely campground. Big open space, spacious sites with plenty of space between sites. Clean and tidy. Close to Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Jewel Cave

Campground has nice graveled pull throughs with a picnic table and beautiful trees. Full hookups. The site also had a nice grassy area which wasn’t mowed and looked untidy. Highway was nearby and I could hear, but I have heard worse.

We stayed at Rex Hale Campground for 3 nights after being at Fishing Bridge for 5 days. We loved the remote location, the soaring rocks around us, and the daily viewing of mountain goats and deer. The river roared beside the campground adding to the ambience.

There is no cell signal at all. Cody is about 40 minutes away.

Stopped here for the night. Arrived around 5pm and was greeted by a friendly smile. Found our campsite and backed right in with no problem. Warm, but nice breeze off the lake. Sites only offer electric but we had water in the tanks, so no problem. Only negative where biting flies right before sunset.

Nice campground for a lay over spot. Lots were a little tight. Don’t follow the google directions!

Loved this campground. Clean and well laid out. Loved the decks that came with the site.
