Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on July 14, 2018We found this RV park online. I called to make a reservations for 3 nights and spoke to Mitzie.
She was lovely, she and her husband Joe run this farm, it's 50 acres and they are adding RV sites all the time. We had 30 amp service, water and septic and i was charged $30 a night !
Such a beautiful farm, no wi-fi or cable tv here but we didn't care. Weather was beautiful, and this place is so peaceful ! They were gearing up for the annual bluegrass festival, starting the following week, fun to watch. Apparently this is their 18th year of hosting the festival and they sell out every year. This is a great place to park it for a day or 3, or longer. They have many return customers and i think we will be one :) Easy access off I-40, just few miles down from that. We were literally a few miles from Pidgeon Forge and Gatlinburg. So much to see, and if with kids you won't be able to figure out where to go first !! Also beautiful drive not to far away to the top of Smoky Mountain National park, which should be seen !!!

We usually grab a few hours at a rest area but DW found this gem so
could plug in and recharge (pun intended) Great location, very
peaceful and relaxing. Picture tells it all, owner said "pick a spot,
if you're not happy with it...it's your fault" ;) 30 Amp, H2O, sewer.
That $30 includes tax so we figured to pay $10 @ Loves to dump
it really cost us $20. DW calls me Mr Justification. Oh, there's a
great Shell Sta. as you get back on I-40. Excellent fuel, rig ran
remarkably well after this fill-up.

We pulled in here on our way to Florida. It was easy enough access however it was a little strange for me. It’s like a field behind a farmhouse with services. To be fair, it was late December and we came in late and left early. It was pretty wet but again, winter, however I can just picture a field of RVs in the summer. It was perfect for our purposes albeit a little pricey for what it was.

This is a large field with hookups on a farm. That means no trees or privacy, and sites are just average in size. Our site was pretty level but some sites looked less so. The views are nice and it certainly has a different feel from most RV Parks. The owners were very friendly and check-in was easy. As we only stayed overnight we don't have much else to report. We'd gladly stay again as an overnight stop... not sure if we'd stay longer as it seems to be mainly a "place to park", and not really a "destination" campground (no picnic tables, fire pits, or any other amenities). AT&T and Verizon service both worked, though I didn't really test performance of either.

I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area for a few days - it is a BEAUTIFUL property, very well-maintained, and the owners are really nice and go above and beyond. We pulled in with our travel trailer on July 4th intending to stay one night, and the following morning found that our truck had some major issues that needed to be fixed immediately (nasty noise which ended up being a bent drive shaft). The owners were extremely kind and accommodating when we approached them with this issue and the fact that we would potentially be staying for at least another week - they're locals to the community and truly care about the land they live on and those that camp there. They even gave us a handwritten list of free hiking areas, disc golf courses, and other free sights in the area since they knew we were on a budget with the unexpected major truck repairs. We were so thankful that we had chosen this campground on a whim once wr arrived and saw how pretty it was, and then when we found out about our truck problems the following morning and were basically marooned in the area with no way to move our trailer, we were even more thankful... We ultimately ended up staying 10 nights here while the truck was being repaired and would absolutely stay here again. It's just far away enough from the hubbub of tourist areas that it's still rural and quiet, but close enough to go experience all the sights and attractions of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Knoxville. There are also amenities nearby for food, gas, etc. if you don't want to to into town. HUGE THANK YOU to the owners for their generosity and kindness!!!!

We loved Dumplin Valley Farm for a quick overnight in early November. It was such a nice change of pace from the standard RV park we normally stay at on long driving days and it was awesome to wake up in a beautiful farm setting.
As other reviews stated, the sites would be tight if it was full, but we only had a handful of rigs there with us and everyone had plenty of space. Several sites were quite unlevel.
The owners were great and we will absolutely stop again the next time we are headed down I-40.

We called ahead due to being off-season. The owners let us stay for reduced rate. Place to ourselves. Nice campground. Grass over gravel. Lots of well spaced sites. Farm turned into campground. Right off I-40.

This was a quiet site with only about 6 campers onsite. I’m not sure how busy they are but they host a bluegrass festival in September that fills their grounds to overflowing!! No real amenities other than full hookups. They are however very close to gaitlinburg and pigeon forge etc. I would assume this would be a significant savings over some of the parks closer in. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Would stay again if we were in the area.

This spot was a perfect spot along I-40. It was off the main drag but close to many amenities. Lots of grass spots and ours was fairly level. We especially loved the farm feel. We called after hours and the owners were very sweet and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
