Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on March 20, 2024This campground is about 30 minutes from our home. We decided to just go up there for an overnight stay for a little getaway. We were looking for something close by and with full hookups and easy to get in and out of it. This campground fulfilled all of that. The campsites are nothing special, just concrete and gravel with no trees. This is not the sort of place you settle into for a week or two to enjoy nature. But the groundskeeping is immaculate and what is lacking in actual campsite ambience is available in the community areas of the park. You can carry your cup of coffee to one of two pavillions overlooking a lovely little pond and enjoy the antics of the resident geese. You can cool off in the clean, clear swimming pool. You can walk all the way around the lake as the grass is well mowed. Throughout the park you'll find pots of flowers and other landscaping features. The proximity of the park to the I-40 makes it a great place to stop for a night or two on your travels, but call ahead for reservations because they stay pretty well booked up. You'll find most of the sites easy to pull in and out of and even keep your towed vehicle hooked up if you wish. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We were looking for a halfway point on our way to Nashville and happened upon this hidden gem! Very clean, beautiful park/pond area, great WiFi, friendly staff, clean showers and restrooms, laundry...and cement pads!
They have a fishing supplies in the camp store if you want to spend some time st the pond and a pool for those traveling in the summer months.
They also have an on-site repair service.
We will not hesitate to return !
We camp in a 42 ft motor home with jeep tow.

We needed a place to stop for the night on our way from Amarillo to Baltimore. We reserved a spot the morning of and arrived late at night. The staff was genuinely helpful. He met us when we arrived late (10:30 pm) and let us fill out paperwork and pay the next morning. We are dual military and they gave us 20% off. It was a very quiet campground, an easy mile and a half away from I-40. Longer stays in the summer seem like they would be fun with their amenities. We travel for work and it was so pleasant to have such a nice experience on our last day of over 45 days of travel.

This is mom and pop rv park was super easy to check into.
Check in was quick, you pull up a hill to access the office which made us a bit nervous about how level the spots would be. After we were taken to our site we were thrilled to find it was very level with no leveling blocks needed. Our spot included a nice wooden patio which was great to sit out at and drink coffee in the morning.
My daughter and I enjoyed walking around the pond in the evenings and feeding the geese that live there. The whole park was quiet and we enjoyed our stay.
This place does need a bit of updating. The laundry was very noisy and only about 1/2 the machines were out of service. We used the showers and really struggled to get the water turned off and on, and there were holes in the ceiling.
Overall, I would stay here if we were in the area again.

Great spot for an overnight stay. Entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. $38 with Good Sam. Was escorted to my campsite. Grounds are easy to navigate and not too tight. Had lot 33, which I think is the best in the park. Great sunset views from the deck. Very level concrete, pull through site. All hookups were clean and had excellent water pressure. Zero road noise and quiet neighbors. Definitely would stay here again when passing through and need a one night layover.

This was a great overnight stop with our dogs. Sites pretty level on gravel with small wood decks and patio furniture. Friendly, helpful staff. Our site was on a slope, with pull-throughs stacked up on different levels, but plenty of space to bump out. Only small criticism was that septic was placed uphill on our site, which was a pain when pumping out. Loved the pond and cow fields, and restrooms were nice.

The managers were extremely kind and helpful. The campground is pretty nice, the bathhouses were clean. Can’t complain. Had a beautiful pond and other amenities we didn’t take advantage of due to the freezing temps, but I would recommend to anyone passing through and needing a quiet, cozy stay.

This is an easy stop off the highway when traveling through. We were planning on staying one night but ended up staying 2 nights due to our hot water heater not working. The folks at the campground helped to repair it. They have parts on site and are knowledgeable about RV's and how to fix them. Thank you Bob! All the staff at Parkers was very friendly. We had a pull through site with full hookups. The reason I gave it 3 stars on cleanliness was because our hot water wasn't working I had to use the ladies showers. I have to say they were clean but needed updating. They have private bath areas that i understand are newer... I just picked the wrong one!

They have a beautiful pond that is stocked for catch and release fishing. They sell basic fishing gear and bait if you don’t have your own. There are Civil War parks nearby. Cattle graze on adjoining property. We wished we could have stayed more than one night to explore the area.
Everyone was friendly and helpful-the person on the phone when I called, the lady when we arrived to register and the camp host who escorted us to our site. They sell propane on site, and gave us an informative packet of the area. We had a pull thru site with a level cement pad. We didn’t give 5 stars because there was some small debris left behind from the previous camper.
Call ahead because it is a small park. They were quite full on a December weeknight. We would definitely stay here again.
