Stayed here one night and were very pleased. The park is basic with long and level sites and close to I-40. We have a 35ft 5th wheel and behind tow a trailer with a side x side. We fit in our site with no problems without having to unhook. We pulled in and picked a site and Donna came over to collect our money. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a Passport America participating park so regular price is $40 but the first 2 nights is $20/night.
We planned on staying 2 days but enjoyed the peace and quiet we ended up staying 10 days! This is a small, no frills park out in the country which we love. It was so quiet and even got to see several turkeys walking thru! It is gated which is a nice feature.
Chickasaw Nature Preserve, Bison viewing area, small casino all within 10 miles.
Turner falls is about 30 min away.
The park has a laundry and is kept very clean. We will definitely stay again when traveling thru.

By previous review we planned on staying the night; however, when we got to the rest area it was in poor condition and there was no area to park without being in the way of traffic.

Possibly a van or very small trailer would be ok but it did not seem safe. We chose to stay at campground about half hour East on I10. We have a 35ft 5th Wheel.

We are Full Time RV’ers and we stayed here for one night. Would have liked to dry camp in their adjacent parking lot but was told we could not until park was full. Not sure if they would have sent security to us or not but there was one 50amp available so we took it,
Lady at front desk was very nice and checked us in quickly.
Sites are quite close and the park has many people who are staying long term for their jobs. All amenities worked very well, sites were quite level; however, our site was not well maintained with ruts in grass, not mowed or trimmed, pieces of insulation laying on the ground and cement was cracked in several places.
For the price and being a Casino campground we expected a nicer, better kept park.

If coming thru again we would come in later and just dry camp or find another park to camp at.

Stayed here 1 night. Easy to find and very clean, safe and quiet. The electrical hookups seem to go around perimeters of park but were not working. We ran our generator for a few hours but weather was so nice that we shut it off for the evening. NO tv channels but had 4 bars with Verizon. Come prepared with food etc because there is only a Family Dollar in town that we could find.
Possibly in the summer it may be a little harder to park because they have several baseball fields and if kids have games it would be busier
We saw no signs or place to pay but since we dry camped we did not leave anything.
We hope for the future they put a sign and payment box so campers could leave a donation.
We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Utah. The park is right off the Expressway and is a no frills park but offers clean laundry room and the staff is friendly and helpful. They show you to your site and the sites are clean and FHU. They have a playground for kids and a small putt putt course. Even has a Courtesy Car to use if needed.....awesome!
Walmart is about 4 miles away and if you drive thru town watch for the deer walking around!
We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here before and this time we stayed 2 nights. The first night is FREE and any other days are $20 which you can pay at City Office Building a couple blocks away. This is a no frills City park with full hookups. There is a nice walking path around a large pond, high school next to park and kids were practicing baseball. Safe and easy to get to.

Park is about 5 miles North of Stuart and easy to get to. It is a first come first serve campground but the locals tend to put a tag on a site a few days before they bring their camper so be aware of this. When you pull into park there will be a sign pointing to the right saying “Camping”. If you go to the right know it is a very steep hill So be careful. It would be better to stay straight which is a narrow road but cleared well. It will lead you to the “upper” campground. The steep road takes you to the lower campground which is a lot of group camping. You can access the lower campground from upper. The upper has a large turn around, water spigot, access to dump and shower house if needed.
We stayed in upper campground site A which is huge and only one camper across the street. That one also had 50amp and water near. Very quiet.

Beautiful park that is first come first serve. We came on a Monday and was told to go and choose our site...set up and then come back to the office to pay. Camp hosts very friendly and helpful. Lots of sites available with long cement pads and grass between each. Very quiet and we had a large open field behind us. Water spigots are shared by 2 sites so have extra hose in case it is needed.
We are FullTimers with a 35ft 5th wheel and had plenty of room to unhook and park our truck.
Walmart and Meijer stores less than 10 miles away.
