I was shocked at how many pull through level spots with FULL HOOKUPS were at this park. It’s surrounded by an arena, multiple ball fields as well as an amazing playground with river! There were cowboys practicing roping and horses for us to pet. There’s also the “first” house built in Haskell on display there with antique farm equipment. Felt very safe here. The community takes good care of it and many people were using the track to walk. Nearby is a 24 hour restaurant with good food and a gas station. It looked like there were a few local shops at the town center. The promised showers were locked, but it had a keypad so maybe if you call and stay additional nights they give you a code. Sign says free first night and $16 thereafter. Payment is done in a pole at the sign or at city hall.

I did like the stay some RV site are pull through all have electric , water and dump . Some dump sites are at the very front of the RV Parking site. So look around before parking . Good phone service. No over air channels. Bathrooms are in really bad shape is what the husband said showers are locked up . Good friendly place for dogs . Not far from highway. Noise is heard during daytime ( not bad) but none at night Thumbs up for Haskell for there hospitality.

We are traveling through NW Texas stayed one night. It is mid December and cold, but the RV sites and adjoining City Park are beautiful. We camped near the 1st home in Haskell TX. Quiet. Full hookups. Free first night and then $16/night after that. One small issue is that the website photo shows $12/night, not $16. Maybe they should update their website to avoid confusion. A big THANKS to the people of Haskell for hosting us in your city.

8/12/2020 "City Park" Lots of dog walkers, joggers or folks just out taking a walk. Also noticed police patrols were irregular, but no more then every 45 minutes.

We were staying at Lake Stamford but was flooded out so we needed somewhere to go. Luckily the first night is free ( but they do accept donations). They have full hook ups. We arrived and there were a few full timers but plenty of spaces available. Quiet town. They have a Spring Market and a very nice Dollar General. Wal-Mart is a few miles away. Will stay here again.

We have stayed here before and this time we stayed 2 nights. The first night is FREE and any other days are $20 which you can pay at City Office Building a couple blocks away. This is a no frills City park with full hookups. There is a nice walking path around a large pond, high school next to park and kids were practicing baseball. Safe and easy to get to.

Can’t complain about rates, first night free there after 20.00 per night. Easy to find and spots are pull thru but small. The area needs some work and maintaining empty beer bottles just laying around and weeds overgrown

We pulled in and left. Looked as if everyone lived there and trashy. Did I say gross? It was nasty.
