Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on July 22, 2023The sites are laid out in typical RV park fashion, straight rows of diagonal pull-through sites. It was pretty good as an overnight stop just off I-20, with free WiFi that was actually usable, and a large grassy field good for short dog walks. Both Verizon and AT&T worked well. Our site and many others were un-level, with the front being much higher than the back. Even with all our wood blocks under the back tires and our jacks extended we could not get level. The sites (all pull-throughs) were also a little short, so our 37' motorhome and tow car didn't quite fit. We had to disconnect the car and pull it right up behind the RV. Others had to park their cars sideways. Site spacing was typical... fairly close to your neighbor, but not right on top of each other. We didn't visit the casino or the town, as ours was just an overnight stop. We'd consider staying here again overnight as the location near I-20 was convenient and it was relatively quiet, but we wouldn't go out of our way to stay again.

We liked this park. It had easy access from the I-20 and they had a casino shuttle which was very convenient. Our site was level although a little short for a pull thru but we didn't have any problems with our 40 ft MH. The concrete pad was a little narrow so we ended up walking in the grass which isn't a problem if it's not raining.

We stopped over for only one night but this is a good park to stay at for a longer visit if you have the time. It is convenient to the casino as well as all the sites along the river.
The entrance has a steep downhill grade when entering. The sites are on the tight side and even with a pull through we had to back out as there was a tree on one side and a light pole on the other along with cars parked in the street making it impossible to exit in forward. Other than that the staff was very nice and all the services worked well.
We did use the shuttle to go to the casino for dinner and it was easy to use on both ends.

This is about as good as you're going to find in the area of Vicksburg. We wanted to visit the Civil War battlefield and check out the town of Vicksburg. The park is owned by the casino, but not so close to cause any concern about traffic to and from the casino. I saw their security vehicle pass through the area several times during the night. The shower room was warm, clean, and the water was hot with good pressure. Many campers were only there for one night so there is a lot of movement in the mornings. Also, the grounds are very well lit up, which causes a lot of light coming in the windows all through the night. There is a train that passes nearby, but there is no whistle and it didn't cause any problems for us.

If you are passing through Vicksburg (we were going from New Orleans up to Hot Springs, AR) this is probably the best place to stay. Nothing bad about the park, just nothing for the kids to do. They have a free shuttle to the casino if you need it.
I did have to go to the Magnolia RV Park to get propane...Ameristar is the place to stay.
Tons of in and out people just staying for a night but it was still good and quiet.
Sites were FHU but just a little bit skinny. Not quite long enough to park truck in front of 5th wheel.
Oh yeah, they had wifi that was actually pretty good! Cable service was not working while we were there.

We were pleased with our choice to stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom/shower was clean and after hours there is a code to get in so I felt very secure. Our site was level. There is 15 feet of grass between the concrete pads but only a couple of trees and no other vegetation. We took the shuttle to the casino twice for dinner at Bella’s overlooking the Mississippi. Good strong WiFi was a plus. Our rate includes the Good Sam discount.

The sites are wide with grass in-between. There are some trees. The park sits below the casino and is surrounded by trees. Then entrance to the RV park is down a short steep hill.
Convenient for a stop over in Vicksburg. Lots of Civil war history here, so many things to see and do. We took advantage of the casino shuttle and went dancing one night.
Tip: Sweep wide, entrance to pull throughs are narrow. Some of the sites are not as level as others, we didn't have a problem due to our automatic levelers.

Had trouble getting to Florida for Xmas due to a broken axle. Glad we broke down here. The park is full of spacious pull through sites, nice bathrooms and showers, and a super friendly staff that went out of there way to gift us for Xmas. Rates are greats, the casino ain't bad at all, and shopping is close by. The casino even has a free shuttle on demand. Great access to shopping and historical sites. We have felt very safe and welcomed here during our stay, would absolutely recommend!

A no frills place, but very nice.
All pull-through spots with full hookups. Lots of grassy area to walk your dogs which is important to us. Grass and a picnic table at each site.
There's a small pool but it being January we didn't check it out. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Showers were clean, hot, and good pressure. A+
A shuttle runs constantly between the RV park and the casino so you don't have to drive. The park is VERY well lit! We felt very safe staying here. I appreciated all the light when walking our pup for her nightly breaks.
There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a nice Kroger grocery store. Plus all the casinos.
My only knock on the park is that the laundry room only had 2 laundry machines and both were out of order. Really needed to do some laundry so this was a bummer for us.
Overall, excellent place for the price!

Two nights allowed me ample time to explore the Vicksburg National Military Park just a few miles away. Check in was a breeze but w/o reservations, and no 50-amp sites available, we took a 30-amp. With temps in the low to mid 80s, this worked just fine. If 50 amp is important to you, book ahead during summer months. Campground close to VNMP and the Historic Downtown area which was just ok. There is a casino shuttle to buzz you across the street. Bathrooms could use a deep clean. There is a hum from I-20 but able to sleep with windows open. Overall an acceptable resort and may be the only choice in town.
