We stayed overnight during a visit to town. The roads are dirt, and this has been a rainy season so they were pretty rutted. A lot of sites had standing water, which brewed mosquitos. Our nightly spot had a concrete pad & new electrical hook up. I met the owner, she discussed expansion plans and had installed pumps this year to handle the water. A playground has yet to be added. Nightly rate $40. Weekly $250 inclusive. Monthly $450-500 plus electric. Propane on site. Laundry. Didn’t use any facilities. This area (town) has a lot of full timers. Chevron across the road. Our site was set back from the road & closer to the water - which was not visible due to the reeds/plants.

A warm, beautifully maintained resort.. adjacent to the River Walk bike trail & a golf course. Family friendly with a nice playground, a dog run & fitness/yoga rooms for the parents. We didn’t use the pool but saw others enjoying it. The vibe was so upbeat with residents socializing, walking dogs & using common spaces. Would love to return. Dynamic pricing structure

This is a big place, but clean, well run. We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool on a sunny day in Feb. The play ground was wonderful. A lot of residents but cohesive with short termers. Nice location to shopping amenities.

Although this place has a great location, it’s too small & tight for a class A motorhome - I saw the manager lifting power lines for another coach to exit. Class C or trailers would be fine. We were assigned an overflow site (never told this over the phone) which only had a 30amp hook up - we used an adapter but the weak voltage fried our converters (which we discovered in the morning, over a holiday weekend). $$$ and inconvenience aside, it was noisy and not kid friendly.

This place is well regarded for it’s proximity to AT&T center, bus ride into Alamo, etc but isn’t the kind of spot to just hang around your site. A lot of city & factory noises.

Roy’s RV is a small RV/mobile park on owner’s property with no fuss hook ups, cash payment & easy in/out to visit Raleigh area. Unknown to us, most sites in town are filled by long term construction renters... Roy keeps one site open for short term renters. We feel lucky to find this spot.

We were able to cancel our second night without penalty due to travel changes. The park is small, lush grass and landscaping, mix of pull through sites/tent camping & cabins. However, the pull throughs aren’t long enough to stay hooked up (toad). For one night, that was a bummer. Off the highway and in a neighborhood so it was quiet.

We stayed here after Labor Day weekend & seemed to pay a lot despite closing of pool. Allegedly, they are making pool enhancements next year. Nice mature trees. Variety of sites or cabins. A cute wooden train play area. Fire pits provided. The Wifi was slow but it’s a large spacious campground so I imagine the signal was weak.

We used this place to visit a friend in Reading area. Basic pull through site for our motorhome. Friendly staff. Easy to miss driving in (turn L immediately across highway). Site numbers would be difficult to see at dark as they’re carved in wood posts. Didn’t check out any amenities. No discounts.
