Closed because the city came out and tested it and shut it down. Our kids were so sad because it was hot and that was the main reason for booking this KOA. They literally had to drain the pool. To keep them busy we hung out in their reck room. That when we learned there were a few families that lived there either permanently or semi permanently. Nice family however I didn’t know KOA did long time spaces.
This trip we bought an RV in LA and had to drive it home. We were unaware it was the same spot until we pulled in. It was a little after 7pm and the store was closed. Since we JUST got the RV we didn’t have a ton to drink abs I was hoping to hit the camp store. Our fault. The camp host had all the after hour packets ready to grab and made it very easy to find. For us this stop was perfect as we planned to just unpack everything we bought at Walmart and set up our rig (minus the drinks I forgot to buy). They have a small park that we let the kids play at in the morning then hit the road. It’s a solid 3 stars for the high KOA price minus the normal KOA experience we are accustomed too. It’s better than just a plain RV park in this area I’ll give it that. The pool was open this time and I’m pretty sure I saw the same family there we saw 3 years back… just older. Still really sweet.
Friendly service
Kind of sketchy, also nice if you want to hear Honda civics race by all night
I stayed here with my family and used it as a base camp for our visit to Sequoia National Park. It has the name so we assumed it was much closer, but in reality the drive up was about 45 min ( bring a tow vehicle!). The campground itself was well maintained and easy to navigate in our 34 ft rig. The staff was super nice and allowed us to change our site at the last min. There are alot of long term campers here but the sites are well kept and it really did not seem like a long term issue. The facility had a pool, game room, and a very small playground. None of your typical KOA activities but considering the crowd was more of a traveling crowd it was understandable. I would return here if passing theough but would look elsewhere for. "Destination" type campground.

We used this campground as a base camp for exploring Sequoia National Park. We arrived around 6:00 and our reserved spot was waiting for us. The usual "follow the golf cart to your site" scenario didn't happen because the person had gone home already. But we had not problem finding our site.
Our 40' RV just fit on our pull-through site. We had to park the car on the grass.
The site are dirt with some grass. There is cable TV, but ours wasn't working. That was actually OK, because there were plenty more channels on OTA television than on cable. I didn't complain, but let them know when I left.
The WiFi steady, if not slow. If you have a Verizon MiFi, the speeds are in excess of 30 Mbps.
We tried the pool. Let's call it refreshing...so much so we were only in it for 5 minutes. A solar cover would help warm it up.
So, no real complaints. It's a KOA. You get what you expect.

We were able to cancel our second night without penalty due to travel changes. The park is small, lush grass and landscaping, mix of pull through sites/tent camping & cabins. However, the pull throughs aren’t long enough to stay hooked up (toad). For one night, that was a bummer. Off the highway and in a neighborhood so it was quiet.

Great signage from US99. Friendly and helpful Staff. Quiet, level and shaded site. Camp Store almost a mini-mart. Pristine showers and bathroom.
It is in a neighborhood of homes. Park here long before the houses and co-exists just fine.
Already planning a return visit.

We stayed for one night, and arrived after the office was closed. Our reservation tag and park map was right where it was supposed to be, so getting situated was easy. Nice, level, pull-through site. I was a little surprised at the traffic noise over night, but it did not bother us. There were also trains nearby, which didn’t bother us, either. But if you’re a light sleeper, just be aware. Staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the option for water/electric only, for a lower cost than full hookups. The dog park was nice. We will stay here again.

Reasonable safe and quiet, but campsite is not in great repair for the price paid. I will try a different camp next time I stop near Visalia and Sequoia for a visit.

Really just layover or local workers. Site needs a bit of a refresh. It’s in the middle of the houses/homes. Not may great layovers in this area when traveling 99. Glad it was here but definitely not a destination.

Stayed 3 weeks (we are full-timers and typically move every week). Not a bad place but it is lower on our list.
Generally quiet.
Food, gas, and groceries are all within 5-10 minutes.
Close to the national parks for larger rigs that cannot get up the switchbacks of Sequoia and the staff is friendly.
The grounds could use some maintenance (large holes in the lawn, potholes around campground, and roaches come out at night in the grass).
I would stay again, but am concerned about the roaches, to be honest. Had good connectivity (we have Verizon and AT&T).
Campground wifi is tough to connect to so it's negligible.
Laundry facility is better than many that we have seen.
