I’m glad it was only $17 (Passport America). Lots of full-timers here, pretty run-down. It was fine for one night. There were some pull through spaces down by the lake. No shade, lots of ants. Big rig friendly-be sure you enter through gate #3!!

Nice small campground. Clean and well kept. Has WiFi but we couldn’t get connected. No dog walk area, sites are pretty close together. Easy in and out with our 40 foot fifth wheel. Close to Alexandria Bay.

Great place to stay before entering Big Bend. Has full hookup spots and a ‘tent’ area. We opted for that at only $15 for the night. A little further from the road and has trash bins, a pond and benches. Plenty of space and level enough for our 40 foot fifth wheel.
The only con is the train that comes through 2-3 times per night with horns blaring!

Nicely kept campground. Sites were a little close together but not a problem. We stayed right on the water by the boat ramp. We loved watching the resident Great Blue Heron. Variety of sites available, some full hookups but not all. We had 50 amp and water. Also tent sites available. They have a great laundry room and a well-stocked camp store in the office. They also accept packages and hold them for you in the office. Dump station onsite. Employees were very friendly. Lots of room for the dogs to play in the campground. Pretty easy to maneuver our 40 foot fifth wheel in and out. The only downside is the highway noise, but other than that it is a great little campground.

They keep the grounds up nicely here, and there is lots of fishing! The sites are level, have concrete pads, fire rings, picnic tables and full hookups. Easy to maneuver for big rigs. The sites are pretty close together and people drive pretty fast through the campground. It wasn’t full when we were there so it was quiet at night.

This campground is within a few hours of most of the major attractions in the UP. It has full hookups at some sites, most are just water and 30 amp electric. Dump station is available. Has a clean bath house and nice playground area.
The sites are very close together and awkwardly shaped. The sites in the center all face the common playground/bathroom. There is some road noise but it quiets down at night. There is no good river access and none of the sites have river views. Also no place to really walk or exercise dogs. They say they have free WiFi but it rarely works and cell service is spotty.

The RV’s are crammed in like sardines. We backed up to a small ditch with a bit of muddy dirty water and trash in it. Our neighbors sewer hookup was right outside our door. There was some trash strewn around and it was overall pretty rundown. I was very glad we had Passport America because the cost was high.
The location was great for visiting the falls. And it was easy enough to get in and out with our fifth wheel. Overall, it was quiet too.

Our campsite was plenty wide and long enough for our 40 foot fifth wheel. A bit tight getting through the campground so I was glad it wasn’t crowded. Lots of trees and a cute little pond. We didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment on those. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring, ours had full hookups. I only wish it had a dog area!

Well maintained campground/mobile home park. Clean and quiet. Easy access, level, and plenty of space for our 40 foot fifth wheel. The pull-through paces are grassy and large. There is a nearby ball field for walking the dogs. We didn’t use the facilities but saw a pool and playground onsite. They also have free WiFi.

Yes, it’s pretty run down, but it is good enough for a night or two. Full hookups, everything works fine. Lots of full-time people but they keep to themselves. Lots of open desert to walk the dogs. Big rig friendly easy in and out for our 40 foot fifth wheel. Price we paid was with Passport America discount. Some freeway noise but not too bad.
