We camped here in March, 2015 in a 35 foot fifth wheel. The rate shown is the Passport America rate.
The campsites are arranged around a large fishing pond lined with Cypres trees. Most of the sites are back ins with a paved pad, full hookups, and WiFi. There are 3 pull through sites. There are several ponds for fishing, a clubhouse, swimming pool, and laundry. The staff was great. Many thanks to them for recommending Fun in the Sun RV Repair to repair our heater and many thanks to the repairman who came out in the rain the same day we called him and got it fixed.
The campground is about 5 miles from I-10 and easy to find. Just follow the signs. We also enjoyed eating at Poche's Market and Restaurant where we enjoyed some authentic Cajun food. I had fun shopping in their large market for meat, sausage, cracklins, and Cajun spices. We'll be enjoying some of their Andouille along the road and when we get home.

We unfortunately aren't fisherman not that we were staying long enough to try but nevertheless it was a great experience. We had a nice level pull-thru that we didn't even have to unhook for and were on our way first thing in the morning. Would recommend!!

This site is in a country setting and is about a twenty minute drive from the city roads. The setting is a few lakes surrounded by campsites. Fishing does not require a license while camping. There is a pool that is usually overwhelmed with children on weekends. Tip: If you want to relax make sure to get a site near the back. The front sites tend to contain children and active families during the summers and on weekends. Sites are leveled concrete for RV parking. There is a laundry area and restrooms with showers by the pool. This is a nice laid-back scenic park.

Beautiful park with lots of fishing where you don't need a license. Almost all sites back up to gorgeous lake views. Very quiet and peaceful place. A very nice, brand new playground and splash pad for kids. And they don't charge extra for kids! Wonderful! The lady at the check-in office is one of the most pleasant I have ever met at check-in. The rate reflects the Passport America discount. Verizon data worked really well there, and I think the WiFi worked well too, but I didn't use it much.

PROs: Nice level, grassy sites; sites are ringed around a big fishing pond, with grass and trees lending a relaxing feel to the place. There's also another huge fishing pond ringed with grass and trees to walk the dog around. We saw turtles, ducks, geese, and one standoffish great blue heron. There are several ponds, as a matter of fact (it is a fishing camp), but there was just enough breeze to keep the mosquitoes at bay. We didn't use the restrooms, pool, or laundry. but the grounds were kept very well, and the staff were very friendly. We had site 83, it had a very large grassy area surrounded on two sides by the water, so the dog could be off leash and not be tempted into another campsite.
CONs: No privacy between sites, though the place was pretty empty while we were there, and most sites were on the other side of the lake. If you're there when it's full, it might feel crowded, though the sites are only on one side of the road that rings the lake. There's only one dumpster near the front of the place, it’s a long detour if you’re carrying your dog’s poop bag; a few trash cans scattered about the grounds would be nice.
(Note: The $20/night was with Passport America)

We've stayed here twice, first in late December and once over Thanksgiving two years later.
It's a lovely park with sites around the small man-made lakes. Water fowl and turtles make for quiet entertainment. Our site was concrete and level with well placed utilities. Picnic tables on the water with some small trees. Open sky for our satellite. Not a lot of space between sites, but not horrible.
Interior roads are bad, even for Louisiana who has the worst roads in the country. Rough transition between road and site. Nice staff with easy check in and consistent maintenance of the grounds. There are a couple cabins and a community hall, a small pool, and laundry on site.
Park WiFi works better than most.
The RC airplanes and gun shots were louder and more annoying our second stay, but not too bad. It's just so pretty here that having outside noise takes away from the peace of the place.
Rate reflects one week stay with Passport America and Good Sam memberships. Owner is good about giving something for all of them.
Close to everything you need in Lafayette, but very rural setting.

Camped here several times always enjoyed the campground and area. If you're not familiar with LA. roads ... go slow! Interior roads are getting a little rough but were told they will be repaired.

This is pretty much what I look for in an RV park. The park was spread out with plenty of space between sites. There was grass between sites, picnic tables, fire rings and a level concrete pad. The site was full hook up and most of the sites including ours, were on the edge of a pond. We were close to the pool (too cool to pool during our stay) and bathroom/showers. There was free wifi, a small camp store, ice for sale and a nice laundry room. This was a peaceful, remote spot near the town of Breaux Bridge, LA. We were going to stay 4 days, but decided to make it 5.
