We needed a way point on our way to Atlanta. We will certainly return. An email received the day before told us of the easy access and directed us to our site. although there were a number of long long-termer their site were well kept and all was quiet. The setting is in a forest on the side of a small lake. Definitely a place to return to. The highlight was a bird nest in the pet waste container with eggs in it. There was good cable and WiFi.

We found this campground cluttered. Neighbors intruded on our campsite with games and lawn chairs, but worst of all cigarette smoke. The roar of the lions at the nearby outdoor zoo was surprising and somewhat entertaining. We became accustomed to the sounds but our dog didn't.
The Zoo was worth visiting. No WiFi or cable.

High Island RV Park is where you want to stay if you are coming for the bird migration. No other park in this area can compare. The sites are very narrow but everything else is in working order and are neat and clean. Excellent laundry and bath facilities, free ice, excellent WIFI. Walking distance to great Audubon birding sites. Visit with other birders about the best sightings of the day. Bring food, distant stores and no restaurants.

Convenient spot just off the interstate. Excellent facilities including laundry but not very generous seasonal seasonal renters. Road construction on site with lots of dust. Traffic noise from the interstate.

Convenient to the Interstate, but noise with the traffic. We stopped for one night on our way through but you would burn up if you stayed any longer. It is located in an old field with few trees. Pleasant manager, full facilities. Gravel parking with narrow grass side lots. The sun was hot.

We made reservations four weeks in advance and were told we got the last site with only water and electricity. When we arrived they were half full and we were able to get full hook ups . They never did fill up. Very friendly management. Narrow sites. I am still cleaning ash off of my car and rig from the fire next door to say nothing about the smoke. Will return to store our trailer only because it is closest to our grandchildren.

We stayed a week to visit our grandchildren. Unfortunately it went on either side of the Memorial Day weekend. It is located near to family so is a convenience. We will try to avoid it in the future on a busy weekends. It is a typical KOA campground with full facilities. Unfortunately it was dusty when dry and muddy when wet. It was crowded and noisy. There was campfire smoke every evening.

This is a very pretty RV park where all sites and privately owned; and rented to tourists when available. Mostly a retirement community. Noisy with conversations coming from all directions and radios blaring. Each site is well maintained but to close together. Excellent pool and laundry facilities.
