Clean bathhouses. You can see and hear the interstate traffic. It was good for a night as we headed to our final destination.
Good park for an overnight stay - arrived late and left early. We stayed in a site with electric and water hookups ($28). They also have tent sites ($17) and full hookups with sewer ($34). 30 amp service is standard with additional $3 for 50 amp service. They have a playground, beach (which we didn’t see), and even a small fenced in dog area. Bathroom was clean and showers were roomy. No tokens, combos, or fees required for showers. Dump station for one rig at a time - no potable water at dump station so fill up at your site. Easy and fast stop for an overnight. This is cow country, so the air was a bit odiferous - to no fault of the campground other than being located in cow country. Quiet other than highway noise. Site was level enough that we were able to leave our Scamp hooked up to the car for the night. Technically not a pull through site, but because it was in line with another site, staff directed us to pull through from the other site so it was easy and fast to pull in that night and pull out the next day.

We had been traveling all day and storms were coming on. Stopped late and got set up just before the rain. Used AARP discount. Site was grassy and just by the lake. Nothing fancy. It was right on I-80 so there is highway noise at night. Wasn’t too bad or I was just too tired to notice.

We visited in the middle of September in a pop-up trailer and 4 adults. We used electric and water - which worked great. The site was level and partially grass with a fire-pit and a table (firewood available for $4 at the office). The view was amazing! The lake had small sandy beaches and a designated swimming area (no lifeguard on duty). The office also rented out paddle boats ($7/hr - life jackets included). I recommend water shoes - there were a lot of prickly weeds beyond the sandy shores. This campground did not provide wifi, which was a bummer, but not a deal breaker. The location was great - right off I-80 and it was easy to get to major attractions (like Fort Cody and Golden Spike Tower). There was one bathroom facility for the entire campground. The bathrooms had two toilets, two sinks and three showers. The bathrooms had toilets separate from the shower stalls, which was nice. Two of the shower stalls also included a dressing room with a bench. Despite serving the entire campground, we never experienced any waiting in the restrooms. They were however not well kept. The toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in several days and there were some dead wasps on the floor. There were a lot of large bugs (crickets and wasps) in North Platte this time of year - I recommend traveling with bug spray, bug yard spray and a flyswatter (or two). That was the only downside, but it didn't keep us from enjoying the outdoors here. We would stay here again.

Quick stop on our way to Colorado. Came in late but they accommodate by posting your site info on a bulletin board. Nice sunrise over the pond.

En route home and needed a place to stop for a quick overnight. The camp host was super accommodating, staying open an extra half hour just to help get us settled. Once our slides were out, the sites were small and cramped, width-wise, but they were long enough to allow us to not unhook for the night, which is exactly what we were looking for. Couple that with the proximity to the freeway (super close) and it was the perfect stop. The only reason we gave this 4 stars was due to the lower quality bathrooms. They were ok, but not great — keypad was inoperable, paper towel dispenser broken, and it was just older.

Found this campground on our way back to the Midwest. It is located on a lake near the North Platte River. During Covid-19, the office was limiting the number of people in the office. We didn’t look at the laundry or restrooms to see if they were open. Our site was level on older hard-packed grass/gravel and included a fire ring, picnic table, and full-hookups. There was no WiFi, AT&T 4 bars LTE (great speed), limited over-the-air TV stations, and our hotspot with a MiMo antenna gave us great signal strength for streaming. It is located right off 1-80, so there is highway noise to contend with. There was a road around the lake which gave us an opportunity to walk around it a couple times every day too!

Camped for two days as we were visiting friends in North Platte. There is no grass and the spots are gravel and weeds. The spots are very close to each other which was a little bothersome. Convenient access to I-80 that you can see from the campground. The I-80 noise was not terrible, but we were in a spot furthest from the interstate. Some of the fire pits are very small and they all do not have grates over them. The hosts were nice and provided us with a 50 to 30amp converter. The ‘lake’ is small but you are allowed to swim, kayak, and fish which is nice. They were also pet friendly which is a bonus. Would camp again for night if traveling through.

We utilized this campground while traveling westbound and then again eastbound. Each time we reserved our campsite and had a very pleasant experience placing reservations. The campground is very close to I-80 so expect to hear highway noise. This campground is a typical RV style campground with not much privacy. The sites are gravel and fairly level. No major complaints, we would certainly stay here again.
