Convenient stop for our first night going west. Modestly clean with wet bathrooms and showers. Uneven sites and lots of road noise. It is primarily filled with seasonal campers.

This camp ground is laid out in a linear arrangement along a mountain stream. This makes is very pleasant but makes it a long walk from most of the sites to the shower facilities and laundry. Quiet with no road noise. A little pricey but all sites have a paved patio. Would definitely stay here a gain.

Small sites with no tables, no room for camp fires, and outdoor sitting on the side of the road. Large rigs crowded in. Our neighbors had five dogs that yelped all night. No on site manager.
The only reason for two stars and not one was that services worked well. If you want a campground with full services in Medora this is for you, but spend your time in the park and not in your camper.

Convenient to the Interstate, but noise with the traffic. We stopped for one night on our way through but you would burn up if you stayed any longer. It is located in an old field with few trees. Pleasant manager, full facilities. Gravel parking with narrow grass side lots. The sun was hot.

We found this campground cluttered. Neighbors intruded on our campsite with games and lawn chairs, but worst of all cigarette smoke. The roar of the lions at the nearby outdoor zoo was surprising and somewhat entertaining. We became accustomed to the sounds but our dog didn't.
The Zoo was worth visiting. No WiFi or cable.

High Island RV Park is where you want to stay if you are coming for the bird migration. No other park in this area can compare. The sites are very narrow but everything else is in working order and are neat and clean. Excellent laundry and bath facilities, free ice, excellent WIFI. Walking distance to great Audubon birding sites. Visit with other birders about the best sightings of the day. Bring food, distant stores and no restaurants.

Convenient park for the route we were taking, but huge and crowded. Gravel sites and out outside space was taken by the sewer hookup of the next rig. 280 sites, need I say more.

We booked our one night stay a month in advance as we were going north to visit the grandchildren.
Arrival and check in was straight forward and we were given a site with a strong internet connection. But Oh! what a site; dusty gravel, road noise, no picnic table, no fire pit, close neighbors. Hook ups as expected. We might as well have parked at Walmart.
