What a sweet campground. We pulled in after a long 9+ hour drive and was found electricity and a lightning show from an incoming storm. Close enough to go visit Fort Stanton and appreciate the area's past. Was able to drive to Natural Bridge National park easy the next day. Found horse riders the next morning out for a ride as our guest. Quiet and clean

Pulled in to get some electricity to charge up our batteries due to so many nights boondocking. Didn’t know what to expect but this place overwhelmingly exceeded our hopes. Walked across the street to the National Park Homestead
Went into the clubhouse and used the stove to quickly cook our supper and then watched TV on our computer be in WiFi was so good
Melissa was just such a great help with info
Seriously don’t miss this place. Spotless and enjoyable stay.

Friends he given us some Canadian money and we decided to use it on this campground. Beautiful but what a pain to get there. Also an issue for phone because to close to border not to have UR phone on airplane mode or get rooming charges.

ALSO COST THE SAME IN AMERICAN OR CANADIAN DOLLARS. SO the exchange rate is good for the Canadian side now

Campground wooded and only one bathroom so could be pretty far if u go to one on the loop. Can tour the park after the gates close

Got in late but ranger sent us down the road to a boondocking spot. Absolutely amazing dark sky and great hiking the next day. Water and flush toilets at the headquarters so good. Not really an option for huge RVs but excellent for small easy to turn around because road is a bit small and starring to be washed out. No phone service but great sights

Wow was this windy. Just an asphalt parking lot with the flush toilet at the bottom of the hill. Was really easy to get to BYU or to drive into SLC. Truly not a place to stay for beauty but much cheaper than a hotel. There is wind blocking by trees around picnic tables so that helps feel more private. A group of campers were workers in the area

This county park is near a huge nature reserve so lots of birds around. The park is very isolated so it is quiet and wooded. The only complaint I have is that the shower house/flush toilet is down hill and quite a hike Sites were level and even had some pull thru at rear. Enjoyable

Sweet little campground at edge if city by river. Shower and bathroom are on street while campground is by river. Bugs were very plentiful but such great internet it didn't stop us from enjoying the park. A bit dark at night so take a flashlight to go to toilet at night This location made it easy to see Duluth and Apostle Island

Wow what a great place and amazing views. Very tough road to get to the campground but still easy to get to go. No big rig can get here

NEVER GO HERE ON A FRIDAY SATURDAY OR SUNDAY because of the locals who come and enjoy the park. They fill up the campsites and then leave at in the evening. So go here when the locals are busy at work.

We stayed on a Sunday and it was packed at 2 and nearly empty by 8.

What a great place to camp. Stayed in the middle of the week and could stream the news. The facilities are older but clean and the personnel were very kind and helpful. Loved the trails and enjoyed the views. Liked our site in the corner under the trees. The road to get to the park is a bit curvy so maybe not huge rigs but we were a pickup camper so not hard.

Betty is the sweetest person to help you get into your site. But wow how unlevel every site is. Really hard to find a site level.

Clean and very long cords needed
