The only complaint I have is that the shower house/flush toilet is down hill and quite a hike Sites were level and even had some pull thru at rear. Enjoyable

Only a seven minute drive from the state portion of horicon marsh. Large spots, nice road in, decent condition pit toilets throughout camp, and a flush toilet/free shower house in great condition right at the entrance to camp. Yes, the shower area is a bit of a walk if you’re in the nonelectric sites, but totally doable and enjoyable with all the wildlife that is around. Dump station and potable water available at entrance as well. They take online reservations, and also do walk up sites. I was here on a Tuesday night in July and there was one tent camper and four RV folks, and lots of remaining open sites. Was able to make calls/texts and do light web surfing.

Ledge Park is similar to most other government (state/county) parks in Wisconsin. Dry camping with 30A electric service in about half the sites. There is no lake/pond on the property, but it is situated near the Horicon Marsh and Lake Sinissippi. Stay away from the sites numbered less than 10 as they offer little or no shade. The higher numbered sites offer full shade. We did not use the shower building but it is open and appears in good condition. There are some very good trails in the park of varying difficulty and of special interest to geology fans in the area. Ledge Park is along the Niagara Escarpment, the same geological feature that forms the falls.
The tent camping sites may be the best sites I've seen anywhere. Spacious, level, most with good drainage, and well off the road. Only drawback is the walk to the shower building is a long one.
The only hitch of the weekend was that the power went off one morning but was restored within an hour. Very nice camp host. Great park for a weekend getaway. Strongly recommend.
