Gravel, level sites w/FHU's. Signage is lacking/confusing just to get into the right driveway, make sure you go to the one you drive under the sign post with the resort name on it. Interior roads are gravel, in fair condition, but needs better signs directing to all the sites. There is nothing as far as activities at the park, Killeen (civilization) is almost an hour's drive away. This is a good stop-over park, not really a destination park. Our Verizon (iPhones) wifi & Starlink wifi were problematic; Starlink probably due to the bad weather we had. The phones' Verizon wifi only worked once we got onto the highway outside of this park. This is the sole reason we would not choose to stay here again.

Rate listed is the monthly rate. Vickie deserves a 5 rating just for the service provided. The park is right on I-90 with an active train track alongside, so know right out the gate you will experience heavy vehicle & train noises. Our site was level, gravel, with FHU's (30A). Laundry and bathrooms on site, well maintained. There are both RV & tent sites here. Like everywhere else here in the area, spaces fill up pretty quick as you near the August motorcycle rally time in Sturgis. Good location for exploring Rapid City, Sturgis, Keystone, Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, Spearfish, and Custer State Park.

This is an “improved” dispersed camping area at the foot of Organ Mountains. They installed posts & cable fencing to prohibit expanded use of the area. That makes the gravel road in a little skinny as far as being able to maneuver bigger rigs around. There are only a few “sites” & very few for big rigs. Nice view of the valley & mountains, coyotes all over at dusk/night. It is a bit busy traffic-wise, especially at night, for having so few sites & such a small trailhead parking area. Just 7 miles from town and a couple miles from Dripping Springs Rec area. Nice hiking.

This is a small facility as far as KOAs go. Not all sites have FHU’s, we started with #54 with E/W only, but moved to a FHU site later. Very clean facilities, very small pool, and they even have fuel pumps with unleaded & diesel. Friendly staff. Small playground, dog runs, and a large tent camping area. DO NOT rely on the KOA reservation website! We tried in April & it showed zero availability until August. We called & they said we could only get 3 days in April. We found the bulk of the sites vacant upon arrival.

I refuse to base an evaluation on location. Yes, this is absolutely an outstanding location, all manner of public transportation is available. The staff is great, helpful. That's where it ends. This is a gravel parking lot, very tight spacing and not a lot of room for the toad. Lots of garbage scattered-cig butts, metal wires/hardware pieces, bottle caps, and general garbage like used paper towels. The only dump site is a hazmat site, tucked in a corner and has construction materials piled up around it. I watched an RV dump, then start to drive off but forgot to close his valve, dumping clumps of human waste, then use a hose to scatter the spill in the gravel. Bath/shower (men's) was perpetually dirty, one toilet continually ran for 3 days, the ceiling sheetrock is sagging/peeling, shower pans were loose. Driving a big rig with toad into the park is a stressful event, city streets are skinny, lots of construction, and cars park anywhere creating a maze to wind through. The site price is way out of line high, their laundry prices are outrageous ($3 wash, 2.50 dry), and they charge an exorbitant $20 for using their honey wagon. But, they are the only game in town. We will not return.

This is now called Wild West RV Park. Dirt, level, lot, FHU’s, and easy I-10 access. Beautiful new bath/showers. Staff very friendly. Pick your own site. Not much to do in town. Good place to come off boondocking & get hookups to dump tanks, replenish, etc.

This is one of KOA's better parks, & as full time RVers for 5 years we have stayed at many KOA's. Level, solid shale sites, FHU's with reasonable height for sewer connection. Well manicured & maintained, large enclosed pavilion with BBQ area, clean pool, playgrounds, ping pong table, billiard room. Cabins & yurts available. Site spacing is OK, close but not on top of each other. Staff is very helpful with info on local activities. Typical high rates consistent with KOA's.

We would only return if we could find no other options with availability, mostly due to price and location. Wellington is a bit far out of Fort Collins and a longer way to see the national park. The approximate quarter-mile access road to the driveway is dirt/gravel and at the pavement transition is seriously pot-holed, GO SLOW! The interior roads are a mix of concrete and dirt gravel, many of the dirt/gravel roads being HEAVILY rutted, GO SLOW! Our site was concrete pad pull-thru with FHU's. There is a nice office/rec room with showers and bathrooms, the pool is adjacent to that building. We knew going in that the pool was currently closed for repairs, but with prices this high I would think a little more concentrated attention on getting things fixed would be a priority. It did not appear that any major repairs were under way, the pool was full of water and pump running while we were there. Nobody went near the pool area during our 3 day stay. An unusable pool in mid-July in 90 degree temps is not a real popular draw I would think. There are the usual playground areas, dog run, tent and cabin areas, & outdoor pavilion for BBQ parties.

This is a members only RV park. First 2 nights are free, then $20 per night for up to 5 additional nights. 15 large, concrete, level (!) sites set in a cul-de-sac configuration with FHU's, with 8 overflow sites with electric only. Lush green grass, clear skies (for satellite), and good location just outside Cincinnati. It has no facilities other than a dump station, otherwise I would consider it a 5 star.
