Nice little campground, spaces a bit tight for my tastes but they all looked dead level. The Staff were friendly and very helpful; at first they put us 1/2 way back between the two bath houses but moved us closer to the front when we asked them for something closer to the bathrooms, which were fairly clean. Good internet service, of course the place was nearly empty, maybe 8 other RVs total.

This CG is a very small CG just off the Blue Ridge Parkway that we stopped overnight in. The staff were nice and friendly and check in was a breeze. It is very convenient to the parkway and the bathrooms are immaculate, with a commode sink & shower in each room behind a key coded lock, very private & secure.
Unfortunately the sites are very close together and not at all private nor level (we were in D5 which sloped down about 8” over our 20’ van). To make matters worse the electric hookup was out of reach, being on the passenger side when backed into the site about 10’ from the parking pad, ok if I had a 50’ cord but not my 25 footer.
There are also a few tiny cabins and yurts here that can be rented.
All in all this CG is convenient to the Roanoke area and ok for a night or two, but not one of my favorite spots.

The staff were extremely helpful, calling us back to ensure our reservation went through OK and escorting us to our site, which was close to the bathrooms as requested. Neighbors were a bit close together (it was a KOA after all). The bathrooms were fairly clean and had individual locks on the door although the inside lock mechanism was a bit confusing (be sure to turn the lower lock!). Some noise from cars and trucks on I-40, the cost of convenience I guess, and a couple airplanes went by low overhead so we must have been in the airport flightpath. The plane noise stopped after about 9:00 PM. All in all an OK place to spend the night. Sites were gravel and we needed a few inches on one end to get level.

A small campground that's run by some nice helpful folks but a bit run down. Bathrooms were old and badly in need of a real good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. The site we were on had a pad but we needed about 2-3" in the back to get even close to level. We were extremely disappointed for a "5 Star" rating. Add in the frequent dog barking and it kind of says it all.

Friendly helpful staff who called back promptly to ensure we were taken care of. Fairly level sites (+- 2") in a gravel lot; a bit tight for my tastes but typical for a private campground. Internet worked great, especially compared to our previous night's stay outside Gallup, MN. A little bit noisy from I-40 and Historic Rt 66 but nothing really objectionable. They do offer a 10% discount for Vets (reflected in the 28.80 cost; 30A electric only). Bathrooms were locked and really clean. Neighbors were real friendly.

Nothing really to reave about here, just a convenient place to stop on the way to someplace nicer. The staff and neighbors are quite friendly and helpful. Sites are mostly gravel and fairly level (+- 3-4"). Hookups available. Bathroom facilities were just OK and could use a little TLC but functional and moderately clean. There was a coin operated washing machine and drier but I don't think I would use them. Very convenient to I-70, hence the low score on noise and high score on access, nothing horrible but could hear trucks pass through the night.

We just stopped in for an overnight on a cross country trip. Reasonably nice campground for that. Probably a great place if your taking in a football game near by. Friendly and helpful staff. When I called the gent was off site but he took the initiative to call back a few hours later (by then I had made a reservation with my phone). Sites are fairly level with concrete pads (at least site 3 was). Mostly fairly big rigs parked there, especial compared to my Sprinter Van. Bathrooms were simple but very clean (my wife even took a shower there). Low score for noise given the proximity to a main railroad line with several trains passing through during the night tooting to announce their presence; nothing really deafening but certainly noticeable.

We overnighted here. Staff were just OK. It's a fairly large sardine can with about 120 slots, all looked to be level and may have been paved at some point. Men's bathroom seemed fairly clean but my wife thought the women's bathroom was quite dirty. Don't count on any internet service; we were able to connect but were constantly getting warnings that we weren't connected to the internet. I tried to run a speed test twice but both failed due to connection problems. Noise sources include planes, trains and automobiles. The place is sandwiched between I-40/a main train line/Rt 66 and the end of an airport runway; good thing there seemed to be little air traffic. All in all I would recommend finding something else.

We were here for 3 nights while celebrating Mothers day with my mom who lives nearby in Penfield NY. It’s very convenient to the East side of Rochester and the Finger Lakes region in general. The staff were very friendly and helpful in getting us a site that suited our needs. I would suggest calling their phone number rather than making an on-line reservation as you don’t get a site choice using the on-line system. Lucky for us they had an open site that filled our needs perfectly. Keep in mind, this is a KOA so you get KOA spacing, although I must say, this is better than some KOAs I’ve seen but it’s a KOA to be sure. The grounds are very well kept there’s lot of activities for those with younger families. All in all I’ll likely stay here again when visiting the are as there’s little else that is convenient and fits our needs.
I should mention that Thursday night was very nice as the CG was maybe 1/3 full (excluding the seasonals) and was quite nice. Friday & Saturday were booked full and way too crowded for my tastes. I must also say I would normally give a KOA a 3 at best but the staff, the exceptionally clean bathrooms (which even my wife liked!) and all they had for kids made up for much of the sardine feel. :-)

We spent only one night at Greenbrier SP in the Cedar Loop site C91. Spaces are fairly well spaced and well wooded but the CG is pretty hilly. Most sites seem fairly level, although ours was about 6” low in the back, but the approach to the pad will likely be up or down hill. The bathrooms were a bit dated but well kept and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all I would rate this CG about 4 ½ and will definitely consider this for a longer stay if we have the chance.
