We have stayed here 4 times over the last few years. Always a friendly staff here to check you in. Very clean park with ample room for our Class A with tow car. If you are a light sleeper, you may not like it as planes go overhead often along with trains going nearby, but this has not been a problem for us. I also appreciate the fenced in area to take my big dogs.
Great park. Neat and clean. People were so nice. BBQ food available in the evening was delish.
Great gem of a place to stay, friendly staff, military discount, pool, best bbq dinner we’ve had. Definitely come back to stay here!
Great stop in between long drives - clean, spacious pull through with plenty of length for a class a towing a vehicle. Tucked on the edge of town, wouldn’t stay more than a night just due to location and not much to do around it, but would definitely stop again on long drives for a quick overnight
Nice graveled spots to park with easy to access hookups and pullthroughs. Super nice owner and AMAZING gift shop. They give discounts for Good Sams, AAA and Military so that always helps to leave more $ for fun. Nice and quiet except for the occasional plane flying in to the muni airport (we saw two flights only). Picnic tables at sites make for ease in eating meals out of the RV. When I am back here again, I will definitely stop by.
Absolutely wonderful! I believe it was the owner's daughter who checked us in and she was very helpful and welcoming. Great accommodations; showers/bathrooms were nice and clean. Wooden statue all service military tribute in picnic area🇺🇸🙌. Free for military. You guys are fantastic! We appreciate you!
Great place to stay. We were in a tent and were right in there with all the RVs. The ground is gravel but we have air mattresses so that was no problem. Next time we want to try out one of their cabins. Bathroom and showers we nice and clean. Cute little shop where we picked up a few things.
Great staff. Stayed open because we called were arriving late. Campgrounds were nice and bathrooms were clean. Definitely recommend this location.
We only stayed one night. The staff were friendly and professional. They offered a barbecue dinner, which seemed to be popular, but we didn’t partake. We did have ice cream and what a deal! A huge scoop, plenty for two, for a dollar. The facilities are wonderful for families as there are lots of activities for kids. I must mention that the bathrooms could be cleaner. Especially notable were the dirty shower curtains in the women’s showers which is a real turnoff for me. Our site #1 was large but we were right next to the dump station and the aroma during the night was a bit much. I don’t recommend that site nor any of the sites nearby, probably 1-4. The store is huge with lots of gifts and groceries. The pool looked inviting, but we didn’t swim. Some have mentioned that the train noise was a problem at night but I found that it wasn’t the trains that were annoying, it was the dogs barking in response to the trains. Anyway, I’d stay here again, just further from the dump station.

This is an Escapees Park and definitely the nicest one we have been to.
We enjoyed the interior features with large mature trees and shrubs (obviously taken care of), a pool, very large covered patio area with tables. In fact, they had a bbq that you could purchase a ticket for - very good.
PROs:
1) easy to get to from I40.
2) very nice staff.
3) Clean bathrooms.
4) Level sites but you are close to your neighbor.
CONs:
5) next to an airport so small aircraft flying low over the RV park on takeoffs, last one was at 11:30 pm.
6) train tracks across the street but we never noticed horn blowing or even trains going by.
7) didn't look like the 'dump' was operational but we didn't need it so not sure on this point.
8) No Verizon service and despite the AT&T tower in line of sight, service was poor. Probably congested.
