First trip to Mackinaw Island, free shuttle to the ferries picks you up at the KOA. Camp and facilities are clean and well maintained. Full hook ups, level site, cable TV and very strong WiFi. Near I-75 but quite. Owners are very proud of their campground and it shows. Paved bike path to Mackinaw City near the campground.

Nice big level site with shade, very important when it’s 100+ in the sun. Great pool and hot tub for adults only plus a second family pool. Two dog parks, older place but well maintained. 2/3 of the Park is for long term permanent camps. Although close to the highway was very quiet. Gave me a pull through site for the shade but charged me for a backin. Full hookups 30 amp. Had a issue with the power on my third day, came right out and had it fixed within the hour.

Nice quite camp with good security. Surround by woods, lots of trees. Visitors must register and pay a fee. No tent camping. No issues with 30 amp or water/sewer. Little rainy and chilly on our weekend stay. Didn’t use the facilities.

Old park well maintained, level sites, full hookups. Next to the toll road, not too loud. Owner has had the park for 60 years, very proud of his park. Very dry humor, very funny. Jake the dog greets every guest. Hope to be back soon.

The most popular stat park in Michigan. Reserve your site weeks in advance. Sites are $33 + $5 reservation fee + $9 if you don’t have the state park passport. Tons of trails lots to do. Friendly staff, clean with many dump stations. Four separate camping sites one tents only. We stayed in Pines 300 yards to Lake Michigan.

$30 per day for water and electric site (20A & 30A), $5 reservation fee, and one-time $9 vehicle fee (out of state, $5 in state). Sites share power and water, which makes them too far from either site. Our 25' water hose was not long enough. We ended up parking off the unlevel pad and on the unlevel grass to get closer to the utilities. Even with these inconveniences, would stay again. Picked up 18 OTA TV channels. No WiFi, but got 2 bars on Verizon which worked okay. After dark, the only noises were the howling of the coyotes.

Quite, clean, level sites. Close to Ste. Ignace. Unfortunately the trams don’t start running until Memorial Day. Well marked trails, the bridge view trail is a must.
