I needed a quick overnight spot that I could hook up to power. Checking in was probably the quickest I've ever done. He told me "$20 dollars and I'll show you your spot on the map." Within 10 minutes I was hooking up. The spot he gave me was directly in the sun. If you look at the pictures posted it's the one that you're looking directly at the 5th Wheel on the left side of the picture. I'm really not sure what spot number that is. The ones on the right side are shaded. There are a few full-timers there, there are tent sites with power as well. Very quiet. I was just baking in the sun and it was late, so I managed.
The hook-ups are spread out. I had to put my front wheels off the concrete pad and on leveling blocks to reach the sewer - and I have a very long sewer hose. Power fluctuated some, but didn't kick it off. I use a hardwired surge protector.
Very easy access off the highway. Your turn off the exit and it's 1 minute down the road. That of course means highway noise, however with the AC and fans going - I couldn't hear a thing. The pictures were posted many years ago, however the campground hasn't changed much.
Overall, clean, quiet, and an inexpensive overnight.

Reasonably quiet considering the highway nearby. Clean and well maintained although utilities were old 20/30 amp sites with FHU. Site 11 was level but other sites could be a problem for larger rigs. Convenient for the National Park, about 25 minutes.

This was a perfect place to stop for an overnight stay on our way out west. 39 amp service and full hookups that you can’t beat for the price. There is no amenities here but that was fine. The bathroom by the RV sites I would consider unusable and no light when we were there. This place is located very close to the highway so there is quite a bit of noise but that did not bother us.

Arrival was smooth and simple. "Airstreams go on 11," we were told—so that's where we ended up. Our site is backed by a fallow field that the sun rises over. Site is level, requiring no right/left at all, with minimal tree cover and shade.
No 50 amp service. I'd recommend the listing be changed. Our 30 amp got a little weak during the hottest days here, shutting off our AC a couple of times. If I had to guess, the grid couldn't quite take what all of us were pulling.
AT&T absolutely rips out here. You're right between two towers. I was able to make this my Starlink home cell while using portability, too.
Mostly working folks here, with a couple of families here and there. Haven't been woken up a single time by another camper leaving (we get up around 630am), nor has anyone come in late at night. It's quiet enough to hear the birds at dawn and dusk, though you do get some noise from the nearby interstate, which kills the "I'm out camping" vibe and makes you feel a bit like you're just parked somewhere.
We stayed here for access to Indiana Dunes (~30min drive), but nearby La Porte is a beautiful little town. The main drag has a cash-only barber, a beautiful county courthouse, great food and beer (shoutout to Bare Bones), and lots of kind folks. There are a few places that offer boat rentals for the lakes in town, if that's your thing.

Keep on driving because you dont want to cross the path of this owner. Camp site was nice but the owner was drinking alcohol when we arrived and was threatening my husband. We checked in and then checked out!! Scary stuff!!

Checking in was quick and easy. The owner was nice, but very to the point. "put in number1 and park your car on the left side." the noise from the highway was easily drowned out by the a/c. The price was $30.00 per day, but gave me $5.00 off because I stayed two nights. I will definitely stay here again.

Owner was nice and helpful. Said he had recently opened for the season. Pull through sites with full hook-ups. Concrete pad for camper and grass otherwise (could be trouble in rainy weather). $35 cash. Close enough to i90 to hear trucks.
