Seems to be off the beaten path down a gravel road but is within a few miles of all you need and slide to Waco downtown. Sites vary in length, depth and width so call and ask which is best for your rig. We saw large and small rigs. Great laundry facility. Clean and efficient. Great dog park for off leash fun. Doggie bag and trash stations throughout the park. Great hosts. Check in currently is via email and a sign at the entry by the airstream. New park so pardon their dust while they make improvements and enhancements. Full hooks ups.

Let me say first that this place is wonderful. Now the downside is if you get here on a weekend or late at night there is difficulty finding a spot away from others. Many of the sites are close to each other and that’s our thing. We kept driving and found the last spot at the end of the road. Perfect!
Great parts are trees, space, picnic table, fire pit, sun for solar, and shade for all else. Bathrooms at trailhead if needed but basic toilet only.
Even in the summer the weather was nice and a welcome perk coming from the heat of Texas. We did stay in Pueblo at the state park prior but it was too HOT and no shade. Crowded as well. Won’t be back to that state park.

This is a first come first served RV park on the side of a highway but sit down low enough to only hear it ever so often through the night. It is nice and clean with plenty of room to walk the dogs, picnic tables. With electric and water and dump station you can’t beat it for $17 a night.

We loved the level concrete pad. Wide and plenty of grassy space between sites. Loved the doggie park area. Family running the KOA is great and so helpful! They have a great laundry facility with outdoor sink for cleaning up big items. Masks worn and safety a priority. Will stay again for sure. Close to a Wal-Mart and Home Depot for all your needs. Pets welcome. Propane for sale. Gift shop as well. Prices change based on day of week and time of year.

It is a KOA so there are nice amenities. There are some areas that need some work but overall a good 2 nights stay. We had not asked for a specific site and should have in retrospect. We tow a 28’ trailer with our truck. All sites are gravel and ours as some others are not easy to back into. We would have asked for a pull through site but the larger rigs took those quickly. We were fine but wished the asphalt did not have as big of a drop off to the gravel.
A nice dog park along with the kids park. Brief trail around the sites and a pond with a lonely duck. Fun yard art everywhere you turned.
Grandpa’s Griddle on the weekend was good.
It was Labor Day weekend but no loud parties. Always meet nice campers along the way at KOA locations.

Site 28 had a shade tree which was great. Very level as well. Office staff nice and helpful. Park has dog area, pool, cafe and more. cable provided and free WiFi. We were able to stream online which was nice.
Wish they had a recycling bin.
We would stay again. They offer a 10% Good Sam discount.

Close to St. Louis Arch but shuttle service was not in operation when we stayed. Sites not level and too close together. No dog area. Monthly spots filthy and trashy. Only thing to say is the staff was nice and friendly. Guess they don’t control how the park is maintained.

Well. Needed a cheap place to stay for a night. Full hookups but man is that highway loud! Not much sleep had by anyone. All dirt and gravel so not great for the dogs. Cool vintage cars and trailers to check out. Did not use any facilities.

We loved the pull through site! Nice privacy fences every two pull through sites in our section. Very clean with curbside trash pick up! Cable, WiFi, laundry, fitness center and hot tub, great outdoor area with fireplace and fountain. Dog run and grass areas for the pups. Nice staff and small gift shop. Close to the freeway but with trees and other campers next to you not bad on noise. Next to a Holiday World and a Walmart.
We wished they had propane and recycling.
We will stay again the next time west.
