We were there a week and most of those days all of the “spots” with picnic tables were occupied, but it never got so full that new arrivals couldn’t fit around the edges of the lot.

Couldn’t say enough good things about this spot. We needed somewhere to stay for a week and work remote on our way from FL to CO. We picked this RV park because it looked like starlink would work well (and it did), but this is also the only park I’ve ever stayed at where the park wifi was actually usable for work! Just a clean, easy spot to stay with no issues. There was also a severe storm with risk of tornadoes while we were here and the park owners gave us info about a neighbor’s basement we could go hide in if it got too bad. It was clear they care a lot about making this a great place to stay.

Stayed 1 night, had no issues finding where to park. No hookups but cell signal was good and the sunset was beautiful so we had everything we needed!

Be ready for the narrow gate coming in! We stayed a week, and during that week people came and went almost every day… some nights it got pretty busy but still plenty of room! Nice views and we loved how close it is to white sands, but the lack of a dumpster is a slight annoyance if staying more than a couple days.

We stayed a week and had no issues besides high winds keeping us up all night for a few of those days. There is a big dumpster but no other amenities. It got pretty busy, but never to the point of running out of room while we were there. I do have to say, though, Sunset Reef campground down the road has better views and a bathroom so I prefer it if it’s not full :)

Great Starlink and cell service.

It was very hot when we came, but luckily you can walk right down to the lake from your spot and cool off! We had a good time, no issues (other than had some trouble finding the side gate, since the main gate is currently closed)

Spent a week here planning to explore big bend, but got stuck on-call for work and ended up mostly having to just hang around Marathon— luckily it was beautiful here, and there was live music 2 of the nights we stayed! Beautiful skies, I would definitely come back.

We stayed for a week and had a wonderful experience. 5 minute drive from the trailhead to Goldbug Hot Springs.

We stayed 2 weeks, and 1 of those weeks was spent huddling inside while the whole world outside got coated in ice. But it was still lovely here. We saw a family of deer every morning and night. There was a pack of coyotes that also roamed the campground sometimes.

Thought this campground was great, we stayed at the Mountain View area and there is a nest of Osprey with 2 babies you can watch from your site. Nice showers, great view, really no issues.
