If you are passing through central Nevada, and may or may not be looking for aliens, stop in Rachel. No sewer but the 30 amp and water worked. Not much else to do, but wait for a possible abduction. If it doesn’t happen, get back underway in the morning and head to Vegas or Reno.

A small campground carved out of a neighborhood, it’s been here a while. All back in sites, a fair number of permanent residents. Good wi-fi, the staff are great; friendly checkin, always available, and there’s usually someone patrolling at night. If you’re worried about backing in, don’t worry, they are experts at coaching you through it if needed. We were here over New Years, if you have a dog and/or don’t want to be kept up all night with fireworks, don’t come to New Orleans/Louisiana over the holiday. They shoot off really big fireworks, for hours.

Easy in and out, friendly checkin, the premium spots were paved with patios and fire pits, others were level gravel. Clean and quiet. Scattered trees, we were able to get a good signal with Starlink.

Just off the Cassiar Highway, level gravel sites. Just big enough for our 32’ fifth wheel. There were some bigger rigs, but they were a tight fit. 30 amp electric only, no dump site, no water at site. Sites 50-58 are on a circle where every one backs in right up to the lake. If there are a bunch of big rigs it could be a little tight. Open for starlink, no cell service. Great day trips to Stewart/Hyder and the glaciers.

There are a lot of rigs, here. Sites do have room between them, some more than others. Lots of amenities: pool, lazy river (seasonal), putt-putt, food truck, basketball, nice pavilion and scheduled activities, if that’s your thing. Lots of long-term visitors. The staff at check in was great, site is level with good hook ups.

Convenient location if you’re traveling I70 and need an overnight. Looks like half the park is full time residents, half for transients. Grass, level sites, the approach road has a few pot holes.

There aren’t a lot of campgrounds close to Nashville, this is one. Concrete level spots, plenty of room between, 20 minutes to downtown. I’m guessing it’s a zoo in the summer with the water park. Easy access from the freeway. It is under the flight path of the airport, if the wind is from the right direction, but it wasn’t a bother.

Easy on and off the freeway, large gas station next door. Super friendly staff. A good number of permanent residents, but it was clean. A lot of noise from the freeway. Nice stop for a night or two, the Buddy Holly Center is worth the visit for music lovers.

We spent one night while traveling north. Lots of trees (Starlink didn’t have a view), and it’s on a hill side. Sites are level but you are up and down going in and out. It may be a little tight for big rigs. Hook ups worked well, and there was good wi-fi.

90% of the park are seasonal but everything is well kept and maintained. Nice and quiet during the week, and even when the full timers show up on the weekend, it’s still quiet and sleepy. We backed right up to the river, there are plenty of amenities for families. Cellular coverage is poor. It’s a twisty road to get in, but easily doable. 40’ + rigs may be a challenge.
