What a nice, fairly new State Campground.

The State is working hard on this park, and doing a great job. The Rangers and volunteers were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The vault toilets were all very clean and maintained daily.

There is now potable water in the campground as well as sprinkler and soaker systems throughout, to keep the park as green as possible. They now have a hiker/biker camping section, in addition to a group section.

This is a no reservation campground, first come first to enjoy the area! Leave the phones in the glove boxes, no cell service. But we survived!!

Beautiful spot along one of Oregon's greatest rivers, the John Day.

We stayed here for 2 nights, Memorial Day Weekend 2023. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Laundry facility included 4 washers and 4 dryers. The sites are somewhat close together, but the do have buddy sites, so that if you have two parties staying together, your doors can face each other and you can share picnic tables. The 1st night of our stay we experienced a tremendous thunder/lightening/rain storm. Chris was out early the next morning, regrading all of the gravel driveway/roads in the park. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Had a spontaneous Labor Day weekend, made no reservations. Found ourselves in Brookings, Oregon ready to stop for the night, Sunday afternoon. Called a few places, and reached voicemail, it was 3:30 pm on a holiday Sunday! Called the Seabird and reached a pleasant manager, who said sure we have a spot for you. Arriving it was clear that most of the spots were for ‘monthly’s, but very well maintained. Paid our $34 in cash, was shown to our spot by Scott. Pleasant folks! Bathrooms were clean and had nice clean showers. Laundry room onsite as well as a rec-room.

Stayed Saturday night on a Labor Day weekend. Made reservations about 45 days out Great site on the end of a row. Free Shuttle service to and from the casino, nice perk, just call dispatch and they come to your site. Beautiful grounds, nice playground area, pool, laundry and wonderful shower rooms. Large resort, which we will come back to. Received a 10% discount with a Seven Feathers Players Club card, so actually paid $53. Also received 3 cent discount off of our diesel at the Seven Feathers truck stop with the Players Club Card. Beautiful area of Oregon, right off of I-5.

We were the only ones in the Spring Hill Campground at Boiling Springs State Park, until late in the evening. There were three sites occupied at bedtime which was so very quiet for the evening. The restrooms and showers were clean and very nice. Beautifully kept grounds and park. I don't know that I would want to be there in the peak of summer camping season, but off season? Definitely a do over if and when we are back in the area.

This got a "we can come back here" from my husband. That doesn't happen often, so there you go. It has a new toilet/shower house. We had a sight with water and electric, and used their dump on our way out the morning we left. It had nice areas to walk and stretch after our travels through KS in OK. There were red ants, but luckily we didn't bring any with us! Nice stay.

It was getting late and we needed to stop for the night. Pulled in and were given a spot. The owner was a doll, so sweet and kind. We will stay here again, if the timing is right.

We were visiting family in the area, so we weren’t in the campground much. But upon our arrival we were met by a friendly camp host who directed us to our spot. Gave us a tip on how to maneuver into our site. He helped us pull forward just a bit for the utility pole, but then I realized that our slide would hit a tree when opened. He went and grabbed the landscaper, who trimmed the tree. They then both came back with racks and cleaned it all up for us. They were both very accommodating.
Very nice restrooms with showers. Very clean and well maintained park.

As always Cedar Ridge Campground was an ACOE park, with beautiful sites and campgrounds. Nice large sites, room for kids to play and dogs to wander on their leashes. It appeared that the toilet/sink "side" of the ladies room was cleaned daily. However, we were there for 4 days and not once was the shower/sink "side" cleaned. I have always appreciated the cleanliness of ACOE parks restrooms/shower house, so I was disappointed to see and experience this. The park had Camp Hosts on site, but they did not man the kiosk, except in the morning and then around check-in time. Will the bathroom/shower house situation keep me from returning? No, but would love to come back next time and be able to give a glowing review.

The first day and night the wind was incredible! But the following day and the day we left were gorgeous! Clean campground, we were there during the week so it wasn’t busy at all. Grandsons enjoyed the playground and attempting to catch fish from the shore. There are primitive sites here also in the West side of the reservoir, no charge. Would love to come back.
