We spent one night and would NOT stay again. There are other choices in the area. Our site #12 was right next to a cabin. Sites 1-10 ok, but wouldn’t stay in any other. We choose this campground because it wasn’t as congested as others, but no office to ck in to; no bathrooms or shower facilities which were no big deal. It was just outside of town, but wasn’t for us.

Stayed in lot overnight in a 40’ Motorhome. Flat lot with decent size space; plenty of trucks and other RV’s stayed here. There is a train close by and the Walmart is open until midnight. We had no issues sleeping and felt safe. We would stay again.
We stayed here over the 4th of July. We have a 39’ Discovery and had NO trouble accessing dozens and dozens of sites. Wooded but not so much that you can’t use Solar. From our site you could barely see the next site. If you have a more rugged vehicle, the sites seem to go on forever. Drove side roads in our Jeep and they just kept going. You can stay a mile or so in on smooth dirt roads or get way off the grid. Your choice. Close to Buena Vista and a lot of outdoor activities like whitewater rafting. (Recommend Brown’s Canyon Rafting)

Stayed here in our 39’ Discovery DP. No problem accessing several dozen sites on a smooth dirt road. Our site was so private you could barely see the next one. Wooded, but not so much you can’t still use solar. The main road branches into 3 or 4 side roads that get more rugged as you go further. A basic car and trailer can go a long way. If you have 4x4 it seems to go on forever. There must be 100+ sites in all. Close to Buena Vista.

We camped here in a 40ft class A. Overall a nice campground. Close to beaches; Wildwood, Stone Harbor; Cape May - 20 min max. They keep campers grouped together but seasonal renter’s definitely rule. Some were super friendly while others rude - music and cornhole past midnight; walking through our site. Have to expect ever campground to have idiots. Overall a nice experience and we would stay again - just not in site 67 near the idiot.

Spent 1 night in campground in 40ft Class A. Very quiet campground and very friendly office staff. Ate dinner at Log Cabin Restaurant and would recommend. We would recommend and camp here again.

Upon arrival with our 2 dogs we had to email them our dogs vaccination records which I somewhat get but then we had to initial every rule and most rules were just for sake of having a rule. Campground is NOT on lake but maybe 6 sites. Location is convenient, but this is where they lost us and will NOT get our return. We had to leave unexpectedly 1 night early due to my brother in law had been in hospital for a month with covid and is fighting hard for his life and we just got word we could visit him. So we got text while out in lake kayaking so we paddled back quickly. Went in to speak with manager at 2pm. He didn’t want to hear anything- just a flat NO. We are living in crazy inhumane times - how about a little compassion? So do yourself a favor and book Battle Run - much nicer campground- but kicker there is NO pets. They hide the pets part at bottom of website.

Well without the blue green algae in the lake this would be a very campground with a pool. They advise no contact with the lake so it was disappointing. However the campsites are paved with decent sized grassy campsites. We camped here in a 40 ft class A and had no issues.

One of the best state parks we’ve ever stayed at. Many amenities- golf course, zip line, basketball courts, playground. Camped here over Thanksgiving in a Class A RV. Loved the lakeside campground. Would definitely camp here again
