Acorn Campground

We had a little trouble checking in. I booked online for full hookups & they assigned a water/electric site. They changed site pretty quickly. This campground has primarily permanent campers. The weekend got a little rowdy with the seasonal renters. Camp showers need updating. The men's shower didn't have hot water, the woman's had adequate warm/pressure showers. Goodly amount of toilet stalls & shower stalls. Good location for going to cape may(about 20 minutes) other small beaches- however many were closed for migratory birds. Other than weekend, pretty quiet though we were there at off season. If we were back in the area we might camp again.

We camped here in a 40ft class A. Overall a nice campground. Close to beaches; Wildwood, Stone Harbor; Cape May - 20 min max. They keep campers grouped together but seasonal renter’s definitely rule. Some were super friendly while others rude - music and cornhole past midnight; walking through our site. Have to expect ever campground to have idiots. Overall a nice experience and we would stay again - just not in site 67 near the idiot.
