This would have been a great stop but a tractor trailer parked almost in front of the dump station. We had to wait around 20 minutes for the driver to come out of Culver’s. Water was very slow coming out to flush also. Potable water between 15 and 16 at the truck pumps. Slow as Moses! Busy place. But free!

We arrived later than we expected. Blew a tire on our travel trailer. Pulled into the parking lot and here comes security to show us the electric and offers a ride to the casino. We walked the short distance and got some food and lost some cash. Haha. We will definitely stop here again

Good stop for the night. Pretty level and huge. Lots of tractor trailers though. My husband n I sleep through anything but some people would be bothered by the noise. The Iron Skillet was good and rather inexpensive. Casino small but doable. There is a dump station in the parking lot also $10

Easy to find and maneuver our rig around. We were all by ourselves literally! Verizon cell service good and usable. We rode our bikes took a little hike but mostly relaxed. Nice breezes and views. Encountered pronghorn antelope and cows while bicycling. The stars at night were out of this world. Definitely a great spot and would go again

This was a great place to stop. Level spots quiet. It was on a Sunday and families were swimming and picknicking. We grilled out took a bike ride and slept good. I would definitely stay here again

We called and reserved a key for electric for 3 nights. This place is beautiful and the lake is awesome. Very very hot the days we were there and then the flies came. Biting ones. We couldn’t even sit outside. The next day was the same plus mosquitoes covered our truck and camper. We did leave a day early and received a refund. Would have loved to stay but just couldn’t. No fault of Byre Lake. Would definitely try it again maybe in a different month

We picked the 1st spot open which was 1. Nice and big and a perfect view. The road to the other sites was rutted from recent rains. We didn’t want to go down any further. We had no idea sheep bridge rd was a major road and so busy. Cars trucks bikes motor homes atv. All flying. Would stay here again but definitely pick another spot

This parking lot was great. Good meal. Pretty level parking and pretty quiet. We were able to sit outside our rig and enjoy the evening. The spots were perfect with our 30’ travel trailer with truck attached.

We arrived and was apprehensive about going back the road. A friendly camper explained what to do and wow. We brought our 29’ travel trailer back in the “community” and found a spot. Great views

We stayed here for 2 nights in Site 58. Awesome site. A large corner site that was roomy and pretty private. Great campground with easy access to Weko Beach. This was our 1st time in Michigan and we’re glad we picked this area and this campground. It even rained the 1st afternoon and evening but didn’t ruin our stay. The only thing is if you’re at the bottom of the hill and it rains you may need four wheel drive to get back up
