We arrived and was apprehensive about going back the road. A friendly camper explained what to do and wow. We brought our 29’ travel trailer back in the “community” and found a spot. Great views

Found a level spot after a short while. Fairly close to the lake. A couple campers around us also but this place is big enough. The grass where we are is fairly high but no big problems with bugs. We were able to kayak in the reservoir and it was wonderful. Bald eagles and osprey flying overhead and diving down to fish. Some of the roads are pretty deep with ruts. So much do a motor home got stuck. Other than that this place is a gem

We absolutely loved this place. Beautiful lake to kayak and swim. Plenty of level spaces and room. We did not use the restrooms. Bugs were manageable

We arrived on a Monday around 11:00 am. Got a nice spot down on the ledge of the beach (not right by the water). By the afternoon it was packed. This place is awesome. The kayaking is so fun. We stayed 3 days, pulled out to dump at the pilot right across the AZ line and came back for 3 more days. Out 1st 3 days were free as the fee machine was out of service and there were no park rangers. Out next 3 days cost us $21 with our discount from our park pass. It did get windy a couple days but I’ll still stay here again

We picked the 1st spot open which was 1. Nice and big and a perfect view. The road to the other sites was rutted from recent rains. We didn’t want to go down any further. We had no idea sheep bridge rd was a major road and so busy. Cars trucks bikes motor homes atv. All flying. Would stay here again but definitely pick another spot

We arrived mid afternoon and had our choice of spots. Very easy to figure out. &20 cash for electric which we needed for air conditioner. Hot hot hot. Lots of choices to eat inside if you need and extremely clean restrooms. As the evening progressed other campers filed in and by morning it was pretty much full. Definitely will stop again

We arrived on a Saturday around 2:00 pm and boy oh boy. The activity! Awesome place for kids and fun adults also. Sites were nice also.

We stayed here 1 night. Walked around the town. Pretty quaint. Fairly quiet. Good overnight spot

After leaving Gunnison area we headed here. Rte 550 is absolutely stunning. There’s a pretty sharp right turn to come to this area but once down here there were a couple spots. We arrived about 12:30 on a Sunday. Pretty busy. Definitely recommend

We did use the electric hookup but several of the meters didn’t work. Other than that pretty quiet. We did gamble a little and win a couple bucks. Had dinner at the Buffalo sporting bar. Pretty good.
