This campground just keeps getting better. There’s some new construction which includes a great fish restaurant opening soon. The best of a rural feel with lots of amenities close by.
Not busy when we were there. Didn’t use bathrooms or showers. The sites were nice and wide and level. The park is well cared for. Short drive to all the surrounding areas.
Best if you have water toys. A nice resort with many permanent homes. This place is huge.
Only issue was the surly guy at the gate.
A well maintained somewhat older park. Wide streets, it’s roomy and clean. There are some old units there which are not so nice, and seem to be permanent, but it doesn’t take away from our impression that this is a better than average park.
One of the nicest parks we have experienced. Clean spacious and well maintained.
The nicest campground we have stayed at on our month long trip. Nice concrete slab at each campsite. Grass and grounds are clean and well cared for, great WiFi.
I guess I’m very picky compared to other reviewers. When a tree dies, I think it should be removed. When it intrudes on the site I think it should be trimmed. The campsite is all very loose sand. How about some gravel? Also not level at all. Very close to neighbors. Dump hidden under a Bush.
The surroundings are amazing, but the park itself is basic. It’s expensive for what you get. Apparently the zip line, and climbing wall along with the other activities have been closed for some time. The restaurant is closed due to Covid for the season as well (they say). The aforementioned amenities looked modern (when open).
Now for the site. The picnic bench was rotten, the offered WiFi did not exist, the site itself was basic gravel, and was close to neighbors. Did not use rest room or showers.
It needs a lot of updating. Tight typical gravel campsites which are not very level. Picnic tables are weathered and worn. Sites are tight and close to neighbors. It seems like a lot was put into the restaurant and fun zone. It looks very modern but was closed for the season due to Covid.
The surrounding canyons and river are very picturesque. That’s why 4 stars.
Wifi? Don’t put it in your flyer if it doesn’t exist.
FYI our AT&T was 1 bar.
I have a problem with a place calling themselves a resort when you are so close to your neighbor.
Forgot to mention, worst WiFi ever! We have ATT and only got 1 bar
