Pro:
Fairly nice amenities
Mature trees create nice shade
Cons:
Site right next to road
Large gravel on site
Sites close together
Not level
Traffic noise
Busy area
Ok for the area since there are not a lot of options. Sites EXTREMELY close to one another. Tough maneuvering my (36” total) fifth wheel but there were larger rigs there.
A new campground which is short of amenities. If you’re looking for a pool or jump pad for the kids, this campground does not have any of that. The campsites are mainly pull through except the first row. The sites are gravel, and pretty level. Fire rings at sites, but currently fires are prohibited. On sight horse riding and jeep rental available. Hosts are very accommodating. Very open and airy, lots of room between sites. Million dollar views.
Camp sight was very “uneven” couldn’t level, even with my auto level. Have lots of blocks! Would have had to re hook up so just dealt with it. Great surroundings, but it shows it’s age and wear. Gravel sights. Nice neighborhood amenities. Hosts were ok. Pretty close to neighbors. ‘Sufficient” best describes it.
5.0
Now no longer a KOA it’s called the Sonoran Desert RV park. Great experience. Great hosts. Gravel campsite was level and plenty sufficient for an overnighter.
Closed, now a Pho place
Beautiful and a must do
We hiked up to the tower. The whole area is incredibly beautiful. Had drinks in the hotel which is historic and charming. We booked dinner at the buffet which was great. Wonderful day.
