Great for kids with the play area and water park, those areas seem to be nice, also a nice pool, so why give it a 3? Your kids will love it! I really fretted over whether to give it a 3 or a 4. My decision is based on what we saw walking to the back of the park. The RC track and petting zoo are now overgrown and falling apart. There is a castle looking facade that has also seen better days. The “dumpster” is actually a large trailer piled to overflowing with garbage, and that is the only garbage area in the whole park.
They do not appear to be very selective about the rv’s here, as, although the majority are modern and new, there are a few pretty broken down ones. There are some entertainment venues that do not appear to have been used for a while. My impression is that the owners are more concerned with profit than upkeep. Also they show pictures of it being a KOA on the web site. It apparently has not been for quite some time.

Four stars for a great overnight park. Not a destination park, the town isn’t great, and there is not a lot to do in the area. Nice bug sites. And nice grassy area.

I really like this park. Wonderful river views. Nice long sites, although all are 30 amp. Close to gas at the casino, and only 25 minutes to Crescent City. The owner is a great guy, and is always on site. My only suggestion is, they need a dog park, as it’s hard to find a place for them to do their business. It would also be nice to have another dumpster on the other side, since it was quite remote.

If connectivity is not an issue, this is a nice little park. The so called “satellite” wifi advertised on their site is crap (understatement). Nice grassy areas. The sites are close to a stream so very nice. Not too close to Crater Lake it’s about 30 minutes away. Gas up before you get here because the nearest station is 12 miles away in the opposite direction. Also make sure you have all your grocery shopping done, as the one store (also 12 miles away) is pretty poor.

A nice surprise. Easy in and out, pretty spacious. Friendly people. Didn’t use the indoor pool. Quite a few resident RV’s, but we didn’t feel like it took away from our stay. Dog park was really small and not so nice. Asphalt roads with gravel sites. Lots of shopping close by.

Well I hate to be too picky. This park is pretty much right next to the highway, only divided by the frontage road (a few yards) so there is highway noise. Lots of mature trees, but if you use satellite it may block yours (did ours). Very limited cable TV. Nice pool! Nice staff. Close to town. Small park so not a lot of amenities. Not sure why KOA calls this a “Holiday” park. Much more like a “Journey”.

Really tight! Branches had to be trimmed where they touched the slide and roof. Wifi is non existent at times, and only one bar on ATT. Some nice amenities, ice cream and dinner served. Nice store! The indoor pool was overcrowded.

They are in the process of some new construction. New game area, and bathroom upgrades. Two very nice dog parks.

Very nice KOA with great amenities. Would stay here again.

Very nice KOA, one of the nicest we have stayed at. Restaurant was meh. They have an ice cream shop, two dog parks etc.
