“beautiful shaded sites”
Burns RV Park is located in Burns, Oregon. The park is conveniently located on Hwy. 20/395, on the north east side of Burns. We have beautiful shaded sites with nice lawn areas. We have some pull thrus that can handle the larger rigs too!

Very clean park on Hwy 20. ON Hwy 20 so easy access and some road noise. Gravel roads and sites, each with a nice green strip and picnic table. Shade trees throughout park so limited sites with satellite access. All sites have cable and FHUSs, 30 or 50 amp. Showers and laundry. Park WiFi works but slow.
Small town of Burns has a good size Safeway, small hardware, Ford dealership, and a couple eateries. Pizza delivery comes to the RV park.

Rate reflects the W/E site, not Full Hook-ups. The W/E sites seem to sit closer together than the FHU area so if I were staying here again, would probably go with those sites. New owners recently bought this park (May 2016) but seems to be the same as when the last reviewer was here. Seemed well maintained although I didn't use the showers. I personally didn't notice much highway noise on that particular night.

The park is very clean, lots of nicely trimmed grass and the pull thru sites are very wide and long. The staff was quite friendly and check in was quick. There was a very large grassy area for pet walks and there appeared to be an occupied birdhouse at every single site (quite sweet).
On the downside, considering there is no pool, laundry or rec room, we found this place overpriced. When you're the last gas station for 90 miles, you charge whatever you want. Same with this RV Park. There are very few options on your way across this part of Oregon's Outback.

This was a wonderful stop on our way across Oregon on Hwy 20. The owners are really nice and helpful. They keep this campground immaculate and keep a well-stocked little campstore. They even have a great book exchange. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry room are all clean. The sites are full-hookup. The WiFi was quicker and better than other parks we have been in. Deer walk right through the campsites. They also sell propane here at a better price than most places. The price reflects our AAA discount. Tips: 1)Glory Days Pizza has wonderful pizza and they even deliver to the campground. 2) Make sure you fill your gas tank in Ontario if headed west, or Bend if you are headed east, as there are very few places to get gas between them except in Burns.

Pros: Clean; Spacious and level sites; Friendly and helpful staff; Easy ingress and egress; Easy to find from US Hwy 20; Quiet; Good power and water pressure; Pretty park with shade trees; Well-maintained; Old, but clean showers; Laundry facility; The park is in near town, lots of outdoor activities and a bird refuge.
Cons: Poor WiFi, however, that was being updated, just not ready during our visit. Thus giving the park only 3 stars.

Overall, this is not a bad campground. Some spots are a little close together, and some of the large trees make getting into some of the spots tight (especially on the east end of the park). My biggest issue is the power. We were here two years ago and had the same issue on 50 amp service. Our EMS kept cutting power to the rig when voltage on one leg drops below 103 volts. This kept happening last year and is happening again this year. Seems as though when the weather gets hot (so you need your A/C) it’ll cause low voltage on one of the legs. I plugged into the 30 amp service running A/C and a crockpot (drawing 21 amps per the EMS) and showed 105 volts on each leg. Worked for about 30 minutes (until the breaker got hot) and dropped to 102 volts, at which point the EMS shut down power to the rig.
I had hoped this problem had been resolved in two years time, but it had not. And $40.00/night (that’s with a Good Sam discount) is a bit much when these types of issues are present. Next time I’ll drive on to Bend.

We stayed here one night on our way to Bend, OR. Full hook ups. We had a back in site but it accommodates our truck and trailer without having to unhitch for the night. The staff was super friendly and kind to our family and other guest. Very quiet considering it is right on the highway. Most sites featured full hook ups, grass, shady trees, and a picnic table. Nothing fancy but was perfect for what we needed.

Stayed here due to mechanical troubles with our tow vehicle. Very pleasant owners, and they really will work with you if you have special needs. Check in was quick and easy. The power was good, water pressure great, and the sewer placement was good. They even had cable TV, with lots of channels. The spots were mostly back in, but there was lots of room to get lined up. We didn't use their laundry nor shower facilities, but as neat as everything else appeared, I would guess that would be acceptable as well. Although this is located right along the highway, the noise wasn't obtrusive at all. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night on our way to Idaho in a 5th wheel. The grounds are fine but the bathrooms showers need a serious remodel and are small for the number of people the park can accommodate.
The price we paid was with a club discount.
This is a basic park with no fancy amenities.
We stayed on July 5th and the park pretty much filled up be we had pre-paid and had a reservation.
Site 57 is plenty long and can handle a bigger rig then ours. Our 5th wheel is 36 feet long and our truck is 21 feet.
I didn't write down bars for T-mobile as I have been told the number of bars is not a reliable measure of speed or call quality. It is better to get the DB signal strength but I did not do that this time (long day) but I did do some speed tests with Open Signal. I received 4 to 11.5 Mbps inside the RV and around 14 Mbps near the office. I used the Speedtest app to check on the park Wi-Fi and it was poor. I had a speed of 1.5 to 1.9 Mbps right near the office.
