Our stay in Tent Village was great. This was our first KOA stop on our trip and they certainly spoiled us compared to our other stops. Loved the indoor pool after a hot day in Yellowstone. Staff was very friendly, and the store stayed open late.

We stayed in one of the little cabins. It was the perfect space for people who don't have tons of camping gear but still want to "rough it" The larger cot/bed was surprisingly comfortable and very solid.
This was still close enough to make visits into the Park very convenient.Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The fire pit made for a perfect opportunity to roast marshmallows after a long day out.
Bathrooms and showers were clean and easy to access.
We did get to hear some wolves our first night out which made me very happy to have nice solid walls around us while still getting the true Montana feel.

Third times a charm!! I tried to edit my one star reviews for an update, but I guess I’m not technologically inclined?!?! after our horrific initial attempt to check in we spoke with the manager, and he was the most kind, considerate, friendly, communicative, and most happy and helpful!!! and then we had Joshua, that guided us to our beautiful site, and was also super friendly and helpful!! we will be back!!

Decent location, about 10 minutes outside of West Yellowstone + Gate entrance. At least 45-60 minutes to most popular Yellowstone attractions. Good pool, space between spots, and great customer service at front desk. GREAT playground.

Bathrooms and showers - not very clean or updated, especially when charging $150/night and constantly at full capacity. Wifi often out, but we have Starlink.

Pulled into the park about 20 minutes early. Not a word out of my mouth, I walked through the door, and the unhappy, rude, assuming, person behind the desk, no Hi, no hello, no can I help you, just loudly and forcefully “we don’t do early check-in” …..Well ok then…. What a greeting, what a way to start a vacation…. so rude I won’t be back……

I stay at a lot of KOAs. They are often pricey, but you get some value for your money. At $150 per night I expect toilet paper and hot showers. I got neither. Shop around. I’m sure you’ll find something better.

Our site #89 was perfect! Seriously, if you have a big rig, like privacy and don't mind hwy noise we had the most ideal spot. It is located right on the corner of the park and you can back up pretty much as far as you want. Beats any of the pull thrus I saw throughout the park. Our spot only had w/e hookups but there are 2 dump stations on the way out of the park so we didn't have any issues.

Since this park is so close to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park the turn over rate is insane. Every night we had a new neighbor so I would suggest booking in advance if you want a good spot for a longer stay.

The staff were all extremely friendly, they have dinner and breakfast everyday, the showers were fine, they make homemade fudge served in the front office, tons of Yellowstone gifts in the front and fire wood.

Like I said the place was packed while we were there and it being a KOA of course the pool was too. It is indoors, heated and pretty big with a hot tub on the side. Minus the crowd, we loved it.

5 nights, July 2017

A problem with our new Victron Lithium system forced us to abort our cross-country trip to Toronto, Ontario and find a full hookup site somewhere a few hours away from Bozeman, MT, so we decided to visit Yellowstone and the Tetons! We called a few hours ahead to determine if there was availability, and to our surprise in the height of summer, there was a site available for the nights we were there! Overall while we were happy that we had a place to stay, we would not camp here again as the sites were cramped and difficult to back into, though of course I will admit that it is still better than a parking lot RV park.

Next time we'll plan ahead better and make reservations at the dry camping national park campgrounds within the park.

Pros
- Availability, Location, Strong Verizon signal with external antenna (-65dBm ~ 5 bars LTE).
- They seem to have every imaginable amenity, if you're into those things.
- Grass and tress between sites.

Cons
- A bit cramped in the back section of the park, and difficult to back into the spot if there is a vehicle in the opposing site. With our SUV we still had to pull partially into the parking strip of the site across from us, and another person with a large pickup truck was inches away from swiping my SUV when backing up into his spot across from us.
- Cramped parking on your strip - you basically just park on the grass - many people don't understand that they need to park OFF the main road, so pulling out of your site is a pain too.
- Holy moly $67/night?!

We stay frequently at KOA's with our Airstream Camper - so we expect there to be many RV's in pretty tight quarters.

Many of the sites were NOT level - and even though we used leveling blocks I would ensure that I came prepared for uneven campsites. Also - while the park advertises "Big Rig" friendly - I watched several Class A motorhomes struggle to get into and out of the sites.

The next time we go to Yellowstone NP we will probably look at other RV camping options.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
